On December 29, Angel attended an Orlando Magic game with his brother Julian. He recently graduated from the University of Maryland, where he played basketball from 2021 to 2025. Julian was undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft; however, he signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Toronto Raptors in October 2025.
Sitting courtside, Angel and Julian caused quite a stir, as clips on social media showed the eyes of fans and spectators glued to the two men during the Magic’s recent contest. But that wasn’t the only reason ballplayers seemed to attract everyone’s attention.

As seen in photos shared on popular Instagram accounts, Angel and Julian were dressed to the nines, with the Chicago Sky star dressed in a brown look complete with matching thigh-high boots and a fur coat. Julian, on the other hand, adopted an all-black look with a white t-shirt, jewelry and a gray hat.

Angel and Julian’s participation in the match quickly became a topic of discussion on social media, and commentators had nothing but good things to say. Popular fashion account @LeagueFits shared flashy snaps of the two, which garnered nearly 10,000 likes.

Angel’s appearance at the Magic-Raptors game was not only to support her brother’s team, but also to support her NBA star boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr. After months of speculation, Carter seemingly confirmed their relationship during an appearance on FanDuel TV’s “Run It Back.”
“[Angel is] the house for sure, we’ve locked ourselves down,” he said. “You’ll all find out when you need to.” But he didn’t stop there; Carter shared another statement that seemed like the icing on the cake. “We’re going to leave it at that. But she’s my girlfriend. We locked ourselves in, that’s for sure.”
Angel also addressed the rumors, sharing an image of herself wearing Orlando Magic jerseys, while another showed two Christmas stockings with the letters “A” and “W.”

Angel’s 2025 featured a lot more than love, as a recent report from The Blast indicated that Angel was included on Forbes’ list of the 20 highest-paid women in professional sports. According to the publication, Angel earned $9.4 million in 2025; however, only $400,000 of that came from his time on the field. The remaining $9 million came from Angel’s deals with iconic brands like Juicy Couture and Victoria’s Secret, as well as its partnership with Reebok.
“The WNBA doesn’t pay my bills at all. I don’t even think they pay any of my bills,” she has said in the past. “The check I get here is a bonus. To be able to play for four to five months and get $75,000 on top of the other endorsements I do, I think that’s a plus for me.”
