In my experience, there are two types of people at New Year’s: those who love the energy of fresh starts and diving headfirst into reinvention, and those who avoid resolutions altogether because they’re tired of setting goals that never seem to stick.
I’ve been in both camps. And what I’ve learned is this: lasting change doesn’t come from doing more. This comes from being quiet enough to hear yourself.
Before I can create something meaningful in my life – something that actually sticks – I have to take a break. To listen under the noise. To reconnect with what I really want, not what I think should to want.
This awareness is what inspired Design your dream yeara 5-day guided workshop built around a simple vision framework that I have refined over the past three years.
A dream life is not something you construct from the outside. It’s something we design from the inside.
The moment everything changed
A few years ago, on the outside, my life seemed full – family, home, growing business – but on the inside, I felt disconnected and exhausted. My calendar was full. I spent my days on autopilot. Even moments of joy seemed like tasks to be accomplished.
On a quiet Saturday morning, I realized I wasn’t sick, I was exhausted. This moment forced me to ask some tough questions: What am I pursuing? And why do I feel like I never really get there?
It was this turning point that taught me this: a dream life is not something you build from the outside in. It’s something you design from the inside out.
Where your dream year actually begins
Before we plan for a new year, we need to be clear about where we are going and Why. This workshop begins by reconnecting you with your desires, your energy, and your future self so that the vision you create is rooted in who you are.
For five days, you:
- Clarify What You Really Want This Year
- Meet your future self
- Transform your vision into aligned daily action
- Create a deeply personal vision board
- Build rituals to stay connected to your purpose throughout the year
The first day is free to read– and the rest of the workshop takes place within our Substack community.
