Rob Gronkowski Almost Broke His Butt Dancing to Tate McRae’s ‘Sports Car’ on New Year’s Eve
As seen on TikTok, Gronkowski brought all the energy to the “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” celebration, dancing with Hough and other notable figures to pop star McRae’s hit single “Sports Car.” While moving and turning, Gronkowski appeared to lose his footing and stumbled to the ground. “Gronk addressed the stage and his audition for ‘Dancing With the Stars,'” Hough captioned his video of the moment, prompting fans to start clamoring for the former New England Patriots player to appear on the competition series. “Please we need Gronk on DWTS,” someone wrote, to which another added, “He will definitely be in the next season.”

This is nothing out of the ordinary for Rob Gronkowski
Although Gronkowski’s peers in the NFL don’t dance to McRae, honing his performance skills has always been a goal of his. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about his appearance as the White Tiger on Fox’s “The Masked Singer,” Gronkowski said he “always” wanted to learn how to sing and dance.
“Once I got the opportunity, I really didn’t know exactly what I was getting myself into. Now that I had some free time, I figured why not? I’ve always wanted to be part of a singing show,” he said.

Gronkowski also reflected on how being a part of the “Masked Singer” and playing in the league are similar. “You feel a little bit of tremors, your nerves rumbling just before you go on stage and before a big match,” he said. “It’s definitely different conditioning. It just opens up a whole new aspect in your body. It feels good when you’re done.”
He shared his experience on Instagram, saying he “learned a lot” before thanking those who supported him.

Gronk Didn’t Make A Dime Of His NFL Money…And Here’s How

His appearance on “The Masked Singer” is just one of many credits the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player has added to his resume, which he says helped him build his wealth. During a podcast appearance, Gronkowski confirmed that he has never spent a dime of his money in the NFL. “I always wanted to save it, and I just used my money that I was getting off the field to spend on whatever I needed. Technically, I didn’t spend any of my money in the NFL,” he said.
Gronkowski weighs in on this player’s future in the NFL

In another interview, according to The Blast, Gronkowski also spoke about Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and his future in the league.
After the Chiefs were eliminated from the playoffs for the first time in 10 straight years and with Kelce’s lavish wedding to pop star Taylor Swift approaching, fans are convinced the Super Bowl champion will hang up his cleats for the final time at the end of the current season.
Gronkowski agrees, telling the “Up & Adams” crew that his “gut instincts” tell him Kelce is saying goodbye to the game in 2026. “Ultimately, overall, where the Kansas City Chiefs are with Patrick Mahomes injured, with everything that’s going on in Travis Kelce’s life, I think this is his last year.”
