At first glance, you could hardly call Dezctop’s Revon Elite the best standing desk I’ve reviewed. But don’t let first impressions fool you.
Once you factor in the unique shape of the legs and the DivMag magnetic accessories, you have a unique desk that holds up. From there, the potential really starts to open up.
Decztop Revon Elite: Price and availability

The Revon Elite ranges from $610 to $740 depending on the size and style you choose, available on the official Decztop website and Amazon.com.
The emphasis here is on modularity with the DivMag accessory kit. While the panels themselves are proprietary, the metal plates allow any magnet to stick to them, so you don’t need to just buy their trays and cups, although Dezctop does offer plenty of accessories.
Decztop Revon Elite: Unboxing and first impressions
The Revon Elite was a pretty simple setup. It has two main boxes: one with the legs and basic accessories, and the other with the desk itself. Each box is well-packed, keeping things safe during transport. Luckily, I didn’t have any dents or scratches on my device; It arrived in perfect condition. It was unique in the order of some of the leg and frame assemblies, but not in a negative way, just interesting.
Another thing I noticed right away was how easy it would be to swap out some parts to create a more custom version if I wanted to. The wooden leg plates are easily exchangeable if you want to create custom combinations. But, fun fact, I had to go digging to find these fronts for the legs, because they were buried in the boxes since I wasn’t looking for them.
In total, it took me about 45 minutes to assemble on my own. The process was about 70% similar to all other desk setups, with a few unique instances when attaching the frame to the desk. But then again, unless you build desks regularly, it’s probably not something anyone else would notice as strange. There are easy-to-follow assembly instructions to help those who don’t know how to build a desk.
There are some desks that, when built, seem a little cheap to me. And among those who think cheaply, some try to be, and some try not to be, but either way, some things are immediately remarkable. With the Dezctop Revon Elite, I feel like these materials are more comparable to standard furniture, not just a standing desk. Granted, this could be partly due to the shape of the legs and the style of the panels, but it could also just be the point of the design.
The last thing I’ll mention in this section is the controller. I’ve seen controllers for many desktops, and this one is the most unique. It is connected via a network cable and has ports on each end, making it easy to move and connect wherever needed. For me, I placed it on the left side, stored under the desk, and on the leg frame.
Once the photos were taken, I also played with this controller above the desk in a super unique setup that I’ve never been able to do with any other desk. This is only possible because the controller is not mounted but is simply magnetic and there is a lot of metal in this desktop setup. So you can very easily place this controller just about anywhere.
Decztop Revon Elite: quality design and construction
The Revon Elite’s unique frame engineering provides good front-to-back stability. And, although the leg design is quite large, the setup uses a simple C-shaped leg structure.
Another notable feature of this desk is of course the hybrid splitter/cable management. They are certainly unique, but they can be incredibly useful depending on your use case. They can be used for the simple act of keeping your workspace clean in a bullpen or coworking space (queued flashbacks from this episode of The office with Jim and Dwight arguing over things spilling over onto each other’s desks).
Another reason why this desk is useful is that if you just like the cable management below and maybe just like the look of the organizational tools above, whether they break up space or give you a defined area, these magnetic above desk panels can be used with drawers or magnetic hooks to keep an eye on things.
The build quality of this desk is also quite good. It’s not the highest quality material, but it’s also not supposed to be. Not everyone wants a solid walnut slab for their office for many reasons, with price being a very important factor.
However, for those who care about desk functionality and don’t have premium solid wide planks and custom real wood panels, this is great. The quality is sturdy enough to last a while, all without costing you both kidneys.
Decztop Revon Elite: In use
Specifications
Lifting capacity: 264 pounds
Height range: 25.6 to 51.2 inches
On a day-to-day basis, this office performed surprisingly well. I was even able to temporarily use it as a storage desk during the holidays when I had guests staying in my studio. It makes it easy to hold heavy boxes on top and then lift them up easily.
Afterwards, I was able to install it and use it as a desktop on my workstation. This is ideal for laptop use while needing some space. I might also consider creating a more robust setup. You’d probably prefer to opt for a monitor arm rather than a desk shelf, and once you’ve got that setup, you can use the metal panels to organize the desk with mugs, shelves, pen holders, and more. It is not the only office to offer this type of very varied accessories (Vari and Secretlab also offer a range of connected peripherals), but it is certainly one of the strongest uses.
At 6’2″, I struggle to get all of my desks to reach my ideal height, but the Dezctop Revon Elite reached the height I needed without any problems, allowing me to work at my ideal height while standing and sitting. Plus, with the controller presets, I can easily jump between my set height and stand with the press of a button rather than having to press and hold a button.
I’m a big fan of cable management. I take great pride in clean setups, even though my desktop setups usually have an absurd number of cables, especially ones I can build with tons of hardware, ready to roll for whatever I can throw at them. The Dezctop Revon Elite’s cable management solution actually worked for my desk style.
Even though I’m not building my most robust setups here, it can easily handle an average desktop and even some fairly robust setups. Depending on how you space the sections, you can create a tray large enough for cables, bricks, adapters, or other items that you have that make your desk work, but that you don’t necessarily want exposed on top.
I have used this desk in several ways for testing. I ran it as a single laptop desk for testing some laptops, threw a monitor with the standard monitor base here, ran with a monitor on a monitor arm attached to the side of the desk, got a clear desk and used it just for an unboxing and had it as a desk that I stored a few boxes on for a week as well. So far this desktop has shown no concerns, no issues, and it has performed very well in all of these scenarios.
Decztop Revon Elite: Final Verdict
The Dezctop Revon Elite is a lesser-known sleeper desk. This is ideal for those who want a modular setup, a simple setup, or even a desk that can be flexible over the years or as your days progress.
Sure, it’s not the standard walnut slab for those looking for an aesthetically pleasing desk setup, but it’s a fantastic desk that’s a bit of a game-changer. Modular sections are brilliant and flexible depending on what you want, where you want it. In fact, if you don’t like the metal panel, you can even remove it to just have cable management underneath.
If you like changing desks a lot, want something a little different from all the other desks, or really like vertical organization and magnets, then you should definitely take a look at this desk. It’s unique, it has great potential to grow the ecosystem and it’s a quality office at a great price.
