WhatsApp might soon let you set a profile cover photo on iOS

According to the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 26.1.10.71, currently available via TestFlight, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow users to add a cover photo to their personal profile. This new visual element will appear as a banner image at the top of the profile, above existing details such as profile photo, name and status.
