Hooray! Emilie in Paris season 6 was officially confirmed by Netflix on January 6, 2026 (you can find the streamer’s announcement video below).

Creator Darren Star said at a press conference ahead of the release of season 5: “There are a lot of places I’d like to go. But I think the show is organic. [follows] the scenario. The show is Emilie in Paris. It will never definitively leave its home port. But if I can take the audience on a journey somewhere else, I would love that… [It’s] It’s fun to think about.

But after watching the end of season 5, I have my doubts about Paris being Emily’s (Lily Collins) permanent home. However, we’re still a long way from getting answers… here’s everything we know about Emilie in Paris season 6 so far.

Look on it

Given that Season 6 was only just announced and Season 5 wasn’t released until December 18, 2025, I think we still have a little while before we see new episodes.

If we’re lucky, filming will begin later in 2026, which likely means 2027 will be the first year we’ll be able to watch season 6 for ourselves.

It all depends on upcoming updates from Netflix, so watch this space.

Common sense tells us that the following actors will return for Emilie in Paris season 6:

  • Lily Collins as Emily Cooper
  • Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau
  • Ashley Park as Mindy Chen
  • Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
  • Samuel Arnold as Julien
  • Bruno Gouéry as Luc
  • William Abadie as Antoine Lambert
  • Lucien Laviscount as Alfie
  • Paul Forman as Nico
  • Arnaud Binard in the role of Laurent G.
  • Minnie Driver as Princess Jane
  • Bryan Greenberg as Jake
  • Michèle Laroque as Yvette

Rather, there is a question mark regarding Eugenio Franceschini, who plays Marcello. As we saw in the Season 5 finale, he and Emily appear to have broken up for good, but his budding fashion brand exists in partnership with Agence Grateau.

While Emily and Marcello are unlikely to cross paths romantically again, the door remains open for him to return in a professional capacity. The same can be said of his mother, Antonia (Anna Galiena).

WARNING: spoilers for Emilie in Paris season 5 coming soon.

Even before the Season 6 renewal, the future of the series was made clear in the Season 5 finale.

We are about to see Emily and Gabriel get back together, so that would be the main storyline to follow. Bravo’s absence in Season 5 will be noticed by fans, so there will likely be a demand to bring him back on screen as much as possible.

Now that he’s invited her to join him in Greece, we might see more continental travel in future episodes.

Our other main storyline to remember is Jane’s new role at the Grateau Agency. The team could have put up with her during her time in Rome, but now that they’re back home, Jane’s Italian connections are completely useless. Will Sylvie succeed in sharing her leadership, and will Jane’s cash injection cause more chaos than good?

Other B-plots worth remembering include Mindy’s engagement to Nico, Marcello’s solo venture, and Emily’s journey to finally running her own office.
