  • New content inspired by the fashion brand Coach arrives on The Sims 4 in an official collaboration
  • This includes virtual handbags and lots of clothing
  • Everything is free and available today

The Sims 4 players are receiving a host of new free content today as part of the game’s latest collaboration.

As announced by developer Maxis, fashion brand Coach is heading to The Sims 4 in the form of nine new free articles. This includes a number of clothing items available in Create a Sim inspired by the brand’s real-world sneakers, varsity jackets, and Soho skirts.

Some info: The Coach logo has not been localized because it is a brand name. In another language, we would still say “Coach”. We have Simlish samples where the logo is more visible. At the top there are duplicate samples that use Simlish. On the trunk, the samples display either English or Simlish.

Although many garments feature the English “Coach” logo, Simlish purists will be pleased to know that alternate color options are available to replace it with a logo in the fictional language.

A few decorative elements are also added, all based on the brand’s luxury bags. There’s the pricey Coach trunk, as well as the smaller Coach Tabby and Brooklyn bags, all with a range of selectable style options.

In addition to this, the Carriage House themed house will be available in the in-game gallery, with a premade build called The Bag. The house has three members: housemates Jonie Bag, Brooke Lynne and Selena Zhiwei, all of whom represent the brand’s gear.

The collaboration launches today and players are encouraged to share their new looks with “#CoachxTheSims” on social media.

The Sims 4 is now available as a free-to-play title on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. You can also play it on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility.
