Negotiators representing Russia, Ukraine and the United States met in Abu Dhabi on Friday for the first direct tripartite negotiations on a plan backed by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the nearly four-year war, with the disputed Donbass region of eastern Ukraine remaining the main sticking point.
