Unsealed texts show Jenny Slate and Blake Lively discussing alleged ‘weird stuff’ on set
In court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Slate, which has described the shooting as “really gross and disturbing” in other texts, tells Lively about what it calls Baldoni’s “unprofessional behavior” and the “weird stuff he pulled” during the first half of filming.
“I mean, even he recorded our conversation on his phone without asking us first,” Lively added.
She later called it “alarming behavior,” recalling: “You were there for what he said to me when he said I looked sexy. I said that’s not what I wanted, and he said ‘okay, sexy.’ Then he made a joke, asked me if he had crossed the line, and I said yes: he must have missed the sexual harassment meeting.”

Blake Lively’s Texts Detail Britney Spears’ Moment After Justin Baldoni Allegedly Intervened
The texts then turn to another alleged exchange in which Lively and Slate express their admiration for Spears before Baldoni makes a disturbing comment about the singer.
“And then later when you said that you used to stare at Britney Spears’ stomach for hours (before finishing and saying what an athlete she was and how remarkable she looked as a young girl), he jumped in and said ‘same’ and laughed, but then the eyes rolled when we looked at him,” Lively texted.
Slate replied: “Yes, exactly. These are two perfect examples, the first is an example of total overreach and unwanted comment, the second is a great example of how I now feel inclined to close my doors. [because] I don’t want to invite him to make any further comments, it’s just disgusting and stupid.”

Readers Call Unsealed Texts ‘High School Drama’, Call Trial ‘Idiot and Stupid’
As the texts circulated online, Daily Mail readers didn’t exactly react sympathetically. Instead, many called the exchange petty, immature and completely unworthy of a legal battle.
“OMG, what high school drama IS THIS? I can’t believe this is a trial. I pity the jury and the judge. Well, anyone in the courtroom, really,” one commenter said, while another wrote, “This is getting silly and stupid. What are they in high school? Millions of men have made remarks about Britney Spears.”
Fans say Justin Baldoni’s alleged behavior should have been stopped on set, not in court
Others focused their frustration on what they saw as behavior that should have been addressed in the moment, not through litigation. “Baldoni is an immature flirt. His type of behavior is usually dealt with by people verbally reprimanding him, not the courts. This case has survived,” one reader said.
And while some took issue with the alleged behavior, others criticized the overall vibe of the posts themselves, with one commenter saying: “If this is the tone of the private conversations, it’s disappointing. The priority should have been making the movie, not gossiping about others.”
