Braxton Berrios made his first public appearance since his very public breakup while attending the 2026 Pegasus World Cup in Miami.

The Houston Texans wide receiver, 30, walked the red carpet with ease, offering a brief but revealing update when asked how he was doing following the split.

“I’m doing great,” Berrios told the Daily Mailmarking his first acknowledgment of the split since it was confirmed late last year.

The appearance was notable not only for what he said, but also for the timing.

It came after weeks of renewed attention following viral images involving her ex and one of the world’s most famous athletes.

For Berrios, the event symbolized a return to public life after navigating a highly scrutinized personal chapter.

Alix Earle talks about ending the relationship

The end of the relationship became public in December when Alix Earle confirmed the breakup in an emotional TikTok video.

Choking back tears, the 25-year-old influencer explained that the decision was rooted in logistics and long-term compatibility rather than bitterness.

“I want him to have someone with him 24/7 who can support him and be there for him,” she said in the video. “I love Braxton, he’s my best friend, so it’s been really difficult as we try to move forward.”

At the time, the breakup seemed amicable. The former couple continued to follow each other online and there were no immediate signs of tension.

Their public handling of the split garnered sympathy from fans who had closely followed their two-year relationship.

Despite the public confirmation, sources suggested the story was not entirely settled.

An insider previously told Daily Mail that Braxton Berrios was still dealing with the loss and hadn’t completely closed the door to reconciliation.

“He misses her, and the most perfect scenario would be to get back with her, but with the distance, they would have to work out some things before considering any type of reconciliation,” the source said.

This feeling of unfinished business persisted until the events of the end of the year radically changed the narrative.

While Berrios has remained largely silent, Earle’s New Year’s trip quickly became the focal point of further speculation.

The footage showed her rubbing the retired quarterback’s back and whispering in his ear, instantly sparking dating rumors.

The moment carried extra weight considering Berrios’ history with Brady. The two were teammates on the New England Patriots in 2018, and Braxton Berrios previously praised the legendary quarterback.

Following the viral clip, Berrios unfollowed Earle on social media, a decision that did not go unnoticed.

When asked at the Pegasus World Cup if the situation meant he no longer supported the Patriots, Berrios laughed and replied, “Stop.”

Although insiders later clarified that Earle and Brady were not officially dating, speculation continued. A source told Daily Mail that it “is not a stretch that this could turn into something,” which gets the rumor mill spinning.

Earlier this month, both attended the College Football National Championship between the Miami Hurricanes and the Indiana Hoosiers.

While Brady was on the sidelines, the two sat separately.

Earle still managed to attract attention by taking a selfie with Jordon Hudson, the girlfriend of former Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who remains close to Brady.

Alix Earle’s reality show is set to capture it all

As the personal drama unfolds, Earle prepares to share even more of his life with the public.

The influencer, who has 8.3 million followers on TikTok and 5.4 million on Instagram, announced last week that she had landed a new unscripted reality series on Netflix.

Hospitality mogul David Grutman, executive producer of the series through DGN Studios alongside Evan Rosenfeld, gave a preview of what viewers can expect.

“We all know Alix and Ash [her sister Ashton Earle]but the rest of the family is on another level, you’re going to love the dynamic with everyone,” he said.

Grutman acknowledged that the project took a long time to come together, explaining that it “took a lot of persuasion” to get the family to agree and that it took “years of preparation.”

Still, he stressed that the time was right, adding: “I think it’s the perfect time and we’re very excited about it.”

Earle herself addressed her family’s hesitations with humor in the series’ teaser, joking, “Dad. It’s going to be fun. Everything’s going to be fine. I mean, what’s the worst that can happen?”

According to Grutman, filming is already underway. He revealed the family “started filming” and shared everything from the very “first episode.” When asked if Earle’s breakup with Braxton Berrios would be included, he candidly replied, “It’s a show about his life and theirs, so I think it’ll all be there.”
