Britain’s Peter Mandelson resigns from Labor Party after Epstein links resurface

Former British ambassador to Washington Peter Mandelson quit the Labor Party on Sunday after newly released US documents reignited scrutiny over his links to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Mandelson said he wanted to avoid causing “further embarrassment” and denied any wrongdoing.
