At least 162 people were killed in attacks on the villages of Woro and Nuku in Nigeria’s Kwara state on Tuesday, a lawmaker said. These attacks, carried out by Lakurawa militants linked to ISIS, come against a backdrop of a worsening security crisis across the country, including Boko Haram violence in the northeast and kidnappings in the northwest.
