Kosovo’s parliament elected Albin Kurti as prime minister on Wednesday, securing his third term in office and ending a year-long political deadlock. Kurti, who had served in an interim role, won 66 votes in the 120-seat assembly after his Vetevendosje party won early elections in December, drawing applause from his supporters.
