The Paris Criminal Court will examine on Monday former President Nicolas Sarkozy’s request to combine the sentences handed down in separate convictions for corruption and illegal campaign financing. Sarkozy, who served from 2007 to 2012, has faced numerous legal cases since leaving office. His lawyer said such requests were common.
