Kenya Moore’s hair salon ordered to pay nearly $100,000 in late fees and unpaid rent after lengthy legal battle with landlord
TMZ reports that a Georgia judge previously ordered Moore’s salon to pay more than $80,000 in unpaid rent and utility fees.
Court documents reveal that the company’s parent, Moore Vision Media, was ordered to pay $43,988 at the end of February 2026, and an additional $43,988.67 at the end of March 2026, for a total of $87,976.
Additionally, the judge reportedly ordered Moore’s business to pay $5,500 in rent per month until she vacates the property.
However, the owner has since filed an additional claim, alleging that Moore missed his initial payment and seeking sole possession of the property.

Moore’s salon, “Kenya Moore Hair Spa,” opened its doors to the public in 2024. Moore discussed the business venture on Instagram in late 2023, revealing that it created a “safe, luxurious place to relax and feel pampered.”
Moore explained that the salon was the perfect next step for her because she always wanted to encourage people to feel good about their hair, calling it her “passion.”
Moore also took “RHOA” viewers behind the scenes of what it took to create her hair care line, “Kenya Moore Hair Care,” from scratch. In a season 15 episode, the former Miss USA spoke about her “special” activity and her desire to leave a legacy for her daughter, Brooklyn.

In the scene, according to the Daily Dish, Moore washed Brooklyn’s hair at the “Kenya Moore Hair Care test salon,” moisturizing and brushing it, showing viewers what to expect at her Atlanta location.

Social media users expressed mixed reactions to news of the salon’s ongoing legal problems.
One user wondered how Moore could “run up so many bills” and still be a “millionaire.” They added: “How come you don’t pay your bills? »
Another user wrote, “I wanted to see her and her business doing well… One thing I will never do is relish or celebrate someone’s misfortunes.” They continued: “Everyone is struggling these days, and we’re all here trying to make it.”

In a previous interview with Carlos King on his “Reality with the King” podcast, Moore expressed disappointment with the producers of “RHOA” for not including more details about her barbershop in her storyline.
“My casting at the end of [season 15] with the opening of my hair salon, which was the scenario for my business… half of it was taken away,” she said. “Yeah, so the opening of my salon is not in the season.”
“I’m literally building a multi-million dollar business right before your eyes, and they don’t show the steps to get there,” she added, claiming that producers left out scenes of her building plans and took steps to grow her business.

The legal dispute follows a difficult time for the star, who was removed from the “RHOA” cast mid-season after a controversy involving fellow cast member Brit Eady, according to The Blast.
Since then, Moore has not been involved in anything Bravo-related and was not at BravoCon 2025. Moore will also not be involved in the upcoming “Ultimate Girls Trip” special celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary.
“At the moment, no,” she said, asserting that “legal” reasons were keeping her away from the network. “It has nothing to do with whether or not they thought I was a legendary housewife.”
“Yes, that’s a whole other legal issue that I think the powers that be are weighing in on right now,” she finished.
