Dylan Dreyer gives a quick update on her struggling “Today” co-host, Savannah Guthrieas the search for Savannah’s mother continues, Nancy — telling TMZ that she thinks she’ll probably return to the show at some point.

We caught Dylan leaving NBC Tuesday afternoon, and she said that while she thought Savannah would return, the timing was completely unclear — adding everyone to the show just gave her the space she needed because they cared about her so much.

Dylan also reflected on Savannah’s situation moving visit to the “TODAY” studio last Thursday, saying the hug they shared was something they really needed at that moment.

Watch the full clip – Dylan says the visit was incredibly moving, adding that Savannah clearly wants to get some sense of normal life back…she just doesn’t know how yet.

Still, Savannah managed to keep a few smiles during the brief stop at the studio, doing her best to keep moving forward during an incredibly difficult time.

As we reported, Nancy was taken from her home in Tucson in the middle of the night on February 1st. She was last seen entering the house just before 10 p.m. on January 31 after dinner with her daughter. Annie and Annie’s husband, Thomas Cioni.
