General Motors has issued a reminder affecting more than 17,000 vehicles due to rear toe link fracture which increases the risk of an accident.

General Motors’ recall applies to approximately 17,050 Buicks due to a fractured rear tie rod that could cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said in a recall report.

Certain 2012-2013 Buick Regal Turbo and GS vehicles sold or registered in more than 20 states with “high corrosion” are included in the recall. Specifically, approximately 4,751 2012 Buick Regals and approximately 12,299 2013 Buick Regals.
