If you’ve been planning to buy one of Samsung’s new Galaxy S26 handsets but missed out on the tempting pre-order specials, now you have a second chance to bag one of the best deals. Samsung and selected Australian retailers have reinstated the free storage upgrade offer for a limited time, representing a saving of AU$300 on all S26 handsets, including the Plus and Ultra models.
As with the special pre-order deals, the 512GB variants of all models have had their prices reduced by AU$300, meaning they now cost the same as the 256GB. There’s also an AU$300 discount on the 1TB S26 Ultra, bringing it down to AU$2,649 – the usual 512GB price.
In our review of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, we called it “the best Android phone ever” thanks to its thinner and lighter chassis, brighter photos, and the addition of Privacy Display, a feature that dims the screen when viewed at an angle to prevent onlookers from snooping.
Another notable feature is the super stable horizontal lock, which locks the phone’s video on a smooth horizontal plane, even if you rotate the camera 360 degrees.
As for the S26 and S26 Plus, the biggest change has been their pricing, with the former now starting at AU$1,549 and the bigger sibling costing AU$1,849 (up from AU$1,399 and AU$1,699, respectively) although, to compensate, storage options now start from 256GB instead of the 128GB of their S25 counterparts.
That’s why we think the return of this dual storage offering makes handsets more interesting with 512GB of storage instead of the base 256GB.
Although you have some time to make your decision, know that the AI-26SAVE the coupon is valid until April 8, while the double storage offer will end on April 15.
