After Woods’ shocking accident and his arrest for drunk driving, a close friend of the golf champion claimed that he and his partner, Vanessa, had a conversation in which she made her feelings about his latest legal battle clear.
“This is a real wake-up call, and she told him he’s going to fix this and she’s going to demand this. He needs to get things under control or she’s not going to stay,” a source told Daily Mail.
Today, an inside source shared Woods’ response, noting that he is “embarrassed by his recent arrest and has promised to get to a place where his friends and family will look at him positively.”
However, some worry that Woods won’t really change, saying: “He appreciates what he’s built for himself. He appreciates his money and what it brings to his life – he doesn’t have any problems that money can’t solve. Let’s be honest, this will never end.”
“He will always live in this world. He will have another chance to be a part of the PGA and compete in whatever he wants to do,” the source added. “This incident won’t be forgotten, but it will be something that will pass by. Woods recently broke his silence following his accident and drunk driving arrest in a short article on X. The golfer announced that he plans to seek treatment and prioritize his health.
“I know and understand the gravity of the situation I find myself in today,” Woods wrote. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward a lasting recovery.”
He continued: “I am committed to taking the time necessary to return to a healthier, stronger and more focused place, both personally and professionally. »
Woods then concluded by saying he appreciates the support he has received since the incident, while also asking for respect for his privacy and that of those close to him.

Shortly after the incident, Woods’ entourage challenged the famous athlete, while begging him to take his health seriously.
A source said People Magazine that the fifty-year-old needs to “become aware” of his difficulties and to obtain help.
“He is helped by people who make money from his talent and reputation, but with his injuries and his age, he is frustrated and depressed about his health,” the source noted. “He wants to play in major tournaments like the Masters, but he has to become realistic.”

After news of Woods’ new legal troubles made headlines, several PGA stars spoke out, telling the golf star to take “responsibility” and work on himself.
“I don’t like sugar-coating things, and from my point of view, there has to be some sort of punishment, removal or some sort of suspension from play,” former PGA golfer Mark Lye told “Fox & Friends Weekend” Saturday.
Lye continued, “I just wonder where the discipline he learned to impart on the golf course is. [going to] establish himself in his personal life. Obviously he has demons. We all feel bad for Tiger, but you know something, there has to be accountability, and it has to happen soon.
He then went further to demand that the PGA take action against Woods, saying he would only escape punishment if nothing was done about his recent actions.
Tiger Woods pleads not guilty in drunk driving case
Although Woods revealed that he intends to seek treatment after his drunk driving accident, he still plans to fight the charges against him alongside attorney Douglas Duncan, the same person who represented him during his 2017 drunk driving incident.
The golfer was arrested after his car crash last Friday, in which his Land Rover overturned as he tried to overtake a flatbed truck just three miles from his home. Woods ended up spending several hours in a cell at the Martin County Jail before being released on bail for an undisclosed amount.
He was also charged with driving while intoxicated, as well as property damage and refusal to submit to a legal test.
On Tuesday, Woods, on behalf of his attorney, Duncan, pleaded not guilty, waiving his right to an indictment. The legendary golfer also requested a jury trial.
