The actress who left Hollywood years ago appears to be making a comeback with the song and shared her inspiration behind the project in a chat with E! News.

“My inspiration was a lot of EDM as well as rap,” Bynes told the outlet of his song, which also features Los Angeles-based rapper Fenix ​​Flexin.

His statement was echoed by his label Create Music Group, who wrote that the song “blends melodic rap with EDM-inspired production, creating a catchy, highly replayed record with a smooth West Coast bounce.”

“Built around a strong hook and confident, flirtatious energy,” the label further touted the single, adding, “it’s built for repeat listens and broad playlist appeal.”

“I’m cooking in the studio. I want it to be an EDM dance trance track. We’ll see where we go with it,” the 40-year-old wrote in the caption.

The same month, she shared several other excerpts of the song on her page before announcing in February that she was collaborating with Flexin.

The announcement was accompanied by what appeared to be a clip of the artist’s role in the song and included images of someone’s hand displaying bling, which could be the featured artist.
