Jennie Garth says while drinking, the pills got so bad she needed her stomach pumped

Jennie Garth gets brutally real about a dark chapter in her life… admitting that she drank and took pills so heavily at one point, that she ended up in the hospital to have her stomach pumped.

In new memoir, ‘I Choose Me,’ the ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star reveals the spiral was triggered after his separation Since Pierre Facinelli in 2012…I turned to alcohol and pills to deal with the fallout.

Jennie wrote that the situation was so bad that she ended up at Canyon Ranch Rehab after the stomach pumps, trying to unlearn the self-medication that had taken over.

But getting clean didn’t magically fix everything. She said the pain of rejection still lingered, making her feel like her light had dimmed.

Then came the turning point: Jennie says that one day she realized that she couldn’t continue living like this, especially since it was starting to destroy her relationships. So she made a call…and chose to forgive him.

Now she’s on the other side: sober, settled and married to the actor. Dave Abrams.
