Dear requested that a temporary conservator be appointed for his son Elie Bleu Allman as she tells it, he’s locked up in a mental hospital following a series of financial and legal problems, and even a medical emergency that required Narcan.
TMZ obtained the documents the famous singer submitted to Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday…and it lays bare all of Elijah’s problems, saying his life has “significantly deteriorated” since the last time. she requested guardianship in 2023.
She details a frightening incident in which she says her son was found passed out behind the wheel of his car in traffic… leading to his hospitalization and administration of Narcan — the life-saving medication used to quickly reverse opioid overdoses.
Cher also says that Elijah, 49, has no concept of money and immediately spends whatever money he gets, and “almost exclusively on drugs, expensive hotels and limousine rides.” Regarding his drug use, Cher says he owed $18,000 to a drug dealer and had to borrow money from a friend to keep him from getting hurt.
Meanwhile, the singer claims Elijah is drowning in a $200,000 tax bill and has put himself thousands of dollars into debt by damaging various Airbnbs with cigarette burns and smashing windows and walls. She says he owed $50,000 from his last stay after destroying the space…and it caused his longtime friend, Kaytito be prosecuted. Cher adds that Kayti has supported Elijah over the past two years and “obviously kept him alive.”
Cher claims Elijah also had issues with hotels – claiming he was kicked out at 18 for making guests uncomfortable, shouting obscenities and acting erratically. In a hotel, he allegedly cornered a young chambermaid and “aggressively offered her sex”.
The list goes on… includes Elijah’s recent arrests in New Hampshire for “felony burglary, criminal mischief, simple assault, criminal trespass, and bail jumping.” We told you all about his arrests: he was incarcerated in Merrimack County at the end of February after “causing a disturbance and acting belligerently” at a prep school. He was returned to the ringing a few days later for breaking into a private residence.
And BTW, Cher says he’s not with his ex-wife Marie-Ange King romantically, and she would only return to the scene if it was financially advantageous for her.
Cher wants the judge to name Jason Rubin to be the temporary conservator of Elijah’s estate. Cher says Elijah’s situation has become dire. His mental health has seriously deteriorated and his drug addiction is at its worst.
She wants Rubin to take care of Elijah so that his problems “can start to be solved one problem at a time.”
In 2024, Elijah responded to his mother’s request for guardianship in 2023 and admitted to previous substance abuse issues, but said he had been “clean and sober” for 90 days at that time. He said he had just taken a drug test and was happy to take a future drug test.
He did not respond to his mother’s renewed request Friday morning.
