On Tuesday, Dyson announced the latest addition to its hair care line, the Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer, a compact version of its flagship hair dryer designed for people on the go. It’s 32% smaller and 25% lighter than the original Supersonic, while delivering the same performance.
Tara Brown, CNET’s social media producer, tested the product before its launch and said, “I have an original Supersonic, and the airflow quality and pressure are almost the same, which is great for the $300 price.” »
The Supersonic Travel features Dyson’s intelligent heat control technology, which measures airflow 100 times per second to prevent extreme hair damage. It’s also universally voltage compatible, so it automatically adapts to the country you’re in without the need for a power adapter or converter.
“The Supersonic Travel delivers high-performance styling while protecting hair from extreme heat. It is designed for performance, portability and hair health,” said James Dyson, the company’s founder and chief engineer, in a press release.
One of the features Dyson hair care fans will appreciate is the accessory compatibility with the Dyson Supersonic and Supersonic Nural. If you already have one of these hair dryers, you can use its accessories with the Supersonic Travel.
THE Dyson Supersonic Travel is available now for $299 on dyson.com and comes with the style hub accessory. Additional accessories are sold separately.
