Kat Graham says her ‘Michael’ scenes were among those cut for legal reasons

THE Michael Jackson the biopic opens tomorrow… but one actor told fans this morning, don’t expect to see her in the film.

Kat Graham was chosen as the emblematic Diane Ross …but the singer and actress claims her scenes were among those cut for legal reasons — meaning they were likely linked to Jackson’s fall from grace amid child abuse allegations.

KG says the team did their best to keep Michael’s life story intact… but decisions were made and she’s missing.

“Michael” underwent massive reshoots to significantly change the final third of the film, which initially told the story of the allegations that dogged the King of Pop during the latter part of his life.

As Variety reported…the reshoots were necessary when lawyers for Jackson’s estate, which served as producer, realized there was a clause in a deal with one of the singer’s accusers that prohibited mentioning him in a film.

As for what’s on screen… Hollywood turned into MJ mania Monday night as stars walked the red carpet for the premiere of the Michael Jackson biopic.

The star-studded event took place at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood…and included MJ’s eldest child, Prince Jacksonand my sister, La Toya Jacksonsmile on the carpet.
