PIA just dropped its prices to a record low – here

Significant price changes are rare in the budget VPN market, causing the price of Private Internet Access (PIA) to drop from $2.03 to just $1.75 per month a significant event.

While PIA has recently been overshadowed by emerging competitors like Norton VPN, this new low price reaffirms its value.

At $45.55 upfront for 24 months, it’s now cheaper than our current budget champion, Surfshark. Plus, you benefit from comparable application support and greater technical flexibility at lower costs.

If PIA’s utility interface and complex settings seem overwhelming to you, there are several user-friendly alternatives to consider.

ExpressVPN remains my favorite VPN for beginners. Right now, it only costs $2.77/month, which is cheap for most VPNs. It is significantly faster than PIA and provides a more seamless experience for unblocking global streaming libraries.

Surfshark is another serious contender. It currently works faster and cheaper than ExpressVPN, although its security suite is slightly lighter. While the extra speed is a bonus, don’t expect it to outperform ExpressVPN when it comes to consistently unblocking streaming services.

For those who want the best of all worlds, NordVPN is the answer. As the #1 rated VPN, it requires a slight premium – usually starting just north of $3 per month.

For that extra dollar, you get industry-leading security, elite streaming performance, and the perfect balance of “set it and forget it” ease with enough customization for when you want to tinker.
