During her appearance on the Monday, April 20 episode of the “On with Kara Swisher” podcast, she revealed that social stigma is typically awkward for her because people can now talk about it with her in spaces where they shouldn’t.
“I wasn’t even thinking about censoring myself in any way, knowing that this podcast was making headlines, and then a week later I wake up to just headlines about ‘Nikki Glaser says she likes her boyfriend to sleep with other women,’ and it was like five different headlines popping up on my feed,” Glaser recounted.
“It was really embarrassing because I felt like it was just a little thing that I was talking about, like, ‘Oh, I’m a little excited about this idea,'” she continued. “Everyone I knew had seen the day I went to do voiceover work, and people on Zoom in the voiceover were saying, ‘Wow, lots of headlines about you today.’ I think it’s so humiliating that they know.
Elsewhere, Glaser noted that she has learned her lesson and will be more careful with what she lets slip.
“I just have to be more careful now about what I say,” she said.
The controversy stemmed from her appearance on Cooper’s podcast, where she said she didn’t really care if her boyfriend could date other women.
“In a relationship, I really don’t care if my boyfriend were to date,” she said. “But it’s not a two-way street. Like, I’m not someone who likes to date when I’m in a relationship. … I really don’t care.”
“But I don’t care if someone else did it. I actually like it,” she added. “That’s kind of a problem, I think.”

Amid this shocking revelation, Glaser maintained that she was “in charge” and always sought to exert control in such situations.
According to the comedian, she makes her position very clear, daring any woman to try to steal her man, implying that Convy is only committed to her and their relationship.
“If my boyfriend wanted to have fun with someone else, I would need this girl to know, like, ‘Do you know who’s in charge?'” Glaser told Cooper.
