Xbox Game Pass is poised to have a pretty big year. Microsoft must bring it to compete with the dynamics of PlayStation Plusand with the recent announcement of a price drop, anything is possible. It’s a big year for Microsoft to prove itself, starting with Xbox Game Pass.

This on-ramp looks pretty good at the moment, as there are a ton of Xbox Game Pass titles planned for May. They were recently revealed in full by the Xbox team, with the crown jewel of Forza Horizon 6 arrived on May 19. Call of the ancient gods will also be available from day one if you’re looking for another new game to play this month.

On the Xbox Wire blog, Microsoft today announced the arrival of six games on Xbox Game Pass. You can play it right now, and there are a few you might want to jump on as soon as possible.

With five games coming to Xbox Game Pass across multiple genres, there will be something to play this weekend. Here are all the games available today on Xbox Game Pass:

  • Ben 10 Power Trip
  • Descenders Next
  • Wheel World
  • Wild Gate
  • Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

If you are an action-RPG fan, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is an easy recommendation. At this point, many bugs have been fixed via patches, and the game has a lot to offer if you’re looking for a Soulslike experience.

Wild Gate is a fascinating, self-described PvPvE multiplayer shooter that currently sits overall “very positive” on Steam. Its bright visual style is easy to pick up on, and given that it’s on Xbox Game Pass, it should be easy to get friends involved.

With “mostly positive” reviews, Descenders Next is a game to catch if you’re a sports fan and is billed as the “ultimate extreme sports game.” In early access for about a year, it just added a career mode in a meaty update.

Wheel Worldon the other hand, has a slightly wilder premise than the others: “Immerse yourself in Wheel World as Kat, a rider chosen by ancient cycling spirits. Race with elite teams, manipulate your bike and perform the long-awaited Great Shift ritual to save a universe on the brink! Your bike is your destiny.”

These new May 6 releases also follow another gargantuan Xbox Game Pass release: Final Fantasy 5. Arriving on May 5, this comprehensive JRPG helped set the stage for the rest of the franchise, particularly with its highly customizable task system.

Even if you’re not an RPG fan, Xbox Game Pass has something to offer everyone this month. Mixtape is due out tomorrow, so May is shaping up to be a pretty busy month for the service.
