A driver was arrested after trying to hit a boy who was riding a bicycle in a neighborhood in the US town of Cheney.
Police shared footage showing the 56-year-old woman running onto the sidewalk and attempting to punch the boy who escaped by walking away in front of the car.
The driver continued to chase the child on the sidewalk before getting back on the road and driving away.
The boy was not injured in the incident, but his mother told BBC News partner CBS News that her son was shaken and scared.
“He thought for sure she was going to crush him,” Jennifer Taylor said.
