A nude painting of Jeffrey EpsteinThe New York townhouse showed up on eBay…and it looks like the seller wanted big money.
The online auction house had a listing for “Jeffrey Epstein’s Desk Art”… an obscene depiction of a woman that Epstein hung above his desk… according to the New York Post.
The eBay listing, which has since been removed, was aiming for $25,000.
Apparently the seller purchased the artwork at an auction in New Jersey and attempted to return it. Epstein’s estate sold much of its assets.
According to the New York Citythe eBay listing said… “You already know why you’re here. This is a giclee reproduction of Kees Van DongenFemme Fatale, hanging above Jeffrey Epstein’s desk in his Manhattan mansion. Not a rumor. Federal investigators photographed him.”
The obscene artwork is said to measure 4 x 4 feet and is a replica of a work sold in 2004 for $5.9 million. The listing read: “Epstein snagged a fake and called it quits. Very on brand.”
Another detail from the alleged seller… “The frame is a Eli Wilner. The same editors used by the White House. You are welcome. Make it yours. Hang it above YOUR desk. A bold choice.”
