Trump arrives in Beijing with CEOs ahead of Xi meetings

American President Donald Trump landed in Beijing for a highly anticipated presidential summit with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping.

Trump is accompanied on his trip by a group of executives of some of America’s most valuable companies, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk And Nvidia boss Jensen Huang.

The president was greeted on the tarmac by a marching band and flag waving people, who performed as he walked down the steps of Air Force One.

On Thursday, Trump is expected to participate in a welcoming ceremony and hold a bilateral meeting with Xi, before visiting the historic palace. Temple of Heaven and attend a state banquet.

He will leave China on Friday after tea and a working lunch with Xi.

Read more about Trump in ChinaThe high-stakes negotiations between the two leaders are expected to cover customs duties, rare earths, artificial intelligence, the war in Iran and Taiwan. The experts are anticipating that Trump and Xi could announce large Chinese orders for U.S. planes and soybeans once the meetings conclude.

In a society of truth job On Monday, Trump said he expected “great things” to come out of the summit.

Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mt., who just visited China with a congressional delegation, said Wednesday on CNBC: “Scream box” that it is “in the interests of both leaders to keep the relationship stable and to de-escalate, not decouple.”

“We hope to see some sort of trade deal come to fruition, I think it will be Boeing, beef and beans,” Daines said.
