World number one Scottie Scheffler will attempt to win back-to-back PGA Championship titles this weekend as the world’s best players gather at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, for the second major of the season.
Scheffler won the Wanamaker Trophy at last year’s tournament at Quail Hollow Club with a five-shot victory over Harris English, Bryson DeChambeau and Davis Riley. However, the 7,394 yard par 70 layout at Aronimink presents a very different challenge, providing a classic shooting test where approach play will be crucial.
Rory McIlroy enters as the tournament favorite after winning his second consecutive green jacket at Augusta last month, while Cameron Young’s recent string of top-10 finishes in each of his last five starts has fueled hopes that the New York native can win his first major title.
World number one Scottie Scheffler won two major titles last season, including his first PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.

Paramount Plus offers two main subscription plans in the United States: Essential for $9 per month and Premium Plus for $14 per month. Both offer coverage of the PGA Championship.
The cheaper Essential option offers ads for on-demand streaming, but it doesn’t have live CBS streams or the ability to download shows to watch offline later. Students can benefit from a 25% discount.
Live PGA Tour coverage from all four days, Thursday through Sunday, is available on ESPN Plus, which will feature feeds of main action, big name bands, featured bands and featured hole coverage.

If you want full access to ESPN’s networks and services, such as ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNews and ESPN Deportes, as well as all ESPN Select content, then ESPN Unlimited is the way to go. It costs $30 per month.
