Sunglasses just got smarter. And if that sounds cool to you, as part of this year’s Memorial Day sales, you can get these Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Wayfarer Smart Glasses on Amazon for $390.15 (was $459). This is a record price for sun protection and AI integration.

Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses combine the flattering frame of Ray-Ban’s iconic Wayfarer sunglasses with Meta AI technology, so you can take photos, answer calls and listen to music while wearing them.

Plus, this is the first deal we’ve seen on these next-gen smart glasses – and we’re not sure when they’ll go on sale next. It might be during Black Friday, but then who wants to buy sunglasses in mid-November?

Today’s best smart glasses deal

We have not published an official review for the latest Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer. However, one of our writers (who also owned the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 Wayfarer glasses) wrote about his experience with the Gen 2 glasses. He praised the style, the battery that lasts up to eight hours in mixed use, and the improved video of the latest generation model.

The camera really sets the Ray-Ban Wayfarer apart from your average smart glasses. It has the same 12MP ultra-wide camera as Gen 1, but now has 3K video, double the resolution of the Gen 1 pair. Just note that you need to enable 3K in Settings, as it’s not enabled by default.

Plus, while the audio features work well without direct contact with your ear, they can’t beat the quality or ANC of the best wireless earbuds.

In addition to these Ray-Bans, I would recommend any of our best smart glasses, including the best AI and AR glasses we could find.
