It’s June and that means it’s time for the world premiere of Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest. The show includes a ton of new trailers and reveals for upcoming games, and usually the odd celebrity stunt appearance or two (although we were spared that this time). If you weren’t able to watch the show live, no worries, you can watch the VOD below or keep scrolling for a list of all the highlights.
Resident Evil Véronique Kicking off the show is a remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica simply called Resident Evil Véronique. Unlike the previous resident Evil remakes, it looks like this one might use the first-person perspective that has become common in the series since Resident Evil 7. It will arrive on Steam, PS5, PC and Switch 2 in 2027.
Two Cutting head games Studio MDHR was next in announcing that a new Cutting head the game is coming, and I wanted to say that it was hand drawn. Meanwhile, a small team is also working on something “completely different.” Cuphead’s Mighty Adventurewhich is an 8-bit platformer designed to feel like a retro flashback to old-school licensed side-scrolling games.
Alien Isolation 2 Sega is next with a new trailer for Extraterrestrial: Isolation 2. As the trailer shows, this game leaves behind the space station confines of its predecessor and unleashes the Xenomorph onto a colonial world.
Atlas generation Famito Ueda, leader behind Ico, Shadow of the ColossusAnd The last Tutorhas brought a new look to his studio’s next game, which was previously called “Project Robot” when it was first revealed at The Game Awards 2024. Now that the project is a little further along, it has a real name and is much more action-packed than the rest of Ueda’s catalog. The game is called genAtlasand it’s coming to the Epic Games Store, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Blood Message NetEase presented the next action game from 24 Entertainment Blood Messageand in between all the bloody fighting, there seems to be a touching story about the main character caring for his son as they travel through perilous, war-torn China in 848 AD. Dad game.
Stranger than paradise RGG Studio was next with a fresh take on Stranger than paradiseit’s coming Yakuza / Like a dragon a prequel set over several decades of the 20th century… and which contains the long-dead rapper Tupac, for some reason? It comes out on January 15.
Hex Dead Astronauts showed off a procedural shooter called Hexwhich follows a group of researchers trying to navigate a world full of otherworldly monsters, shifting architecture, and unknown technologies that change the lay of the land throughout the game. It will arrive on PC in 2027.
Dead by daylight Asymmetrical horror game Dead by daylight is celebrating its 10th anniversary and developer Behavior Interactive is hosting an event on June 14 to showcase its upcoming events and updates.
Commercial break Summer Game Fest showed off some quick trailers for games including Deadly Shell II which has a new beta currently available and a western sci-fi shooter Sophie’s Raiders of the Sandswhich releases on June 10 and is currently undergoing server review on Steam. We also got another glimpse Assassin’s Creed Black Flag resynced.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin Paramount Games Studio releases PlatinumGames’ next project, which is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game based The Last Roninan acclaimed comic book series.
Fortnite FortniteThe new season of “Runners” premieres today, and I wasn’t expecting to hear Charli XCX’s “Von Dutch” at Summer Game Fest, but it’s the background music in the trailer.
Gundam Rogue Orbit Bandai Namco is next with a new Gundam game called Gundam Rogue Orbit. The game will launch in 2027 and looks like a pretty jumpy hack-and-slash.
An extremely difficult game An extremely difficult game is a physics-based cooperative game in which two geese attempt to move safely through obstacle courses while carrying their unborn baby to its nest. It looks like it’s supposed to be extremely hard, hence the name. It arrives on Steam on July 24.
Crossfire That’s No Moon, a team made up of developers who have worked on games like Call of Duty And The last of ushas finally unveiled its first game, called Crossfire. It’s a cinematic cover shooter with stealth elements, but it also seems to have some sort of horror undertones that it only briefly gestures towards when we see someone on an operating table who appears to end up possessed or something? The trailer doesn’t really show it, but the developers are trying to do something wild with the game’s cover system. Our own Zack Zwiezen took a look at the game and you can find out more here.
Resonant control Remedy showed a new trailer for Resonant controlthe upcoming sequel starring Dylan Faden, the brother of original protagonist Jesse Faden. It comes out on September 24.
Guild Wars 3 Arenanet presented the next entry in its Guild Wars MMO series, coming to PC and PS5. Its first beta version will begin in fall 2027.
Star Wars Galactic Runner Then there was a new look at Star Wars Galactic RunnerTHE Star Wars racing game with a story of rivalries and friendships that develop on the track. It will arrive on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 6.

Last port To keep things spooky, we took a look at Last porta survival horror game where you take refuge in a boat and fish, hunt, and fight zombie-like monsters. It’s coming to Steam.
Crossroads of Virtua Fighters After a few leaks at the start of the year, Sega was finally able to show itself Crossroads of Virtua Fighters as expected, notably with a scripted trailer that shows its characters in the middle of a conflict with the Chinese mafia. Did Virtua Fighter always dropping F-bombs? These people have mouths. The game will launch in 2027.

Sonic the Hedgehog Sega brings more crossover to the otherwise great racing game Sonic Racing Crossworldswith the intention of collaborating with Godzilla And Evangelion in future updates. Thanks, I hate that. Sega also introduced a new game called Sonic Pico Parkwhich is a smaller scale cooperative game.
Attack on Titan 3 A new Attack on Titan Koei Tecmo and Omega F game orce called Attack on Titan 3 will bring the entire storyline of the anime into an action game in which you face off against all of the titular titans.
Clutch For those who are sick of driving in the open world, Clutch is a new project from Maverick Games that will…sorry for being distracted by the fact that they set the trailer to “All These Things That I’ve Done” by The Killers. This song rules.
Anyway, Clutch is a story-driven racing game that will have you driving on both race tracks and streets, and it’s made by people who worked on the Forza games.

Hitman World of Assassination Io Interactive announced that Wiz Khalifa is the next elusive target for Hitman World of Assassination.
World Pal Next up was a cinematic trailer for World Pal’s update 1.0 after more than two years of early access. It will launch on July 10.
The Wolf Among Us 2 The Wolf Among Us 2 has finally emerged into the public eye, and Bigby Wolf has a new mystery to investigate in 2027. Before that, the original narrative adventure game is getting a remaster, which will be released in holiday 2026.
Star Blade: Rain of Blood The next step is a new Starblade game called Rain of blood which marries the sexy cyberpunk aesthetic of the original with gross-out monsters that look like something out of resident Evil. It will feature a new protagonist and is “in early development.”
Street Fighter 6 Capcom continues to appear on this topic and brings new characters to the latest news. Street fighter for its fourth year. Newcomers Yasmine, Arjun and Bosch will join the roster in 2027… oh, and also Tifa from Final Fantasy VII is coming, and she will use one way or another FF7 Material in the game.
Final Fantasy VII Reveal Speaking of Tifa, we finally have the name and trailer for the latest game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. The game is called Final Fantasy VII Revealand will conclude the story. Vincent and Cid will join the party as playable characters. There’s no sign of Aerith in the trailer, despite the strange dead/not-dead state Square Enix left her in at the end of Renaissance. Unlike the first two games, it will be available on all platforms upon launch, rather than enjoying a brief period of PlayStation exclusivity. It will be launched in spring 2027.
