If you’re looking for the best Dolby Atmos movies to show off what your lovingly researched and chosen home system can do, then there’s a smart list of the “Top 100” options available on a site called Hello Atmos.

This top 100 was organized by the creator of Hello Atmos in order to find the “consensus” list of films recommended most often. It’s based on published reviews and lists of great Atmos films (including ours), as well as community recommendations from platforms like Reddit, in the many threads where people ask for recommendations.

It’s all baked into an algorithm designed by the app’s creator, Adrian Wrona, to rank movies based on how recommendable they are, resulting in the Top 100 list.

You can read the full list just below, or check it out on the Hello Atmos site, which also shows where you can stream the films in your country (although TechRadar’s stance is that uncompressed audio from the best 4K Blu-ray players is the only way to do this). Really show your system).

Although, as with all best-of lists, there are many possibilities for argument, is Blade Runner 2049 even a better showcase than Dune? Why isn’t it Dredd higher in the ranking? – it’s a great, eclectic guide to some of the best space soundtracks, with details on who did the mixing, which is a nice touch.

We’ve written about Adrian before; Another tool on Hello Atmos scans your Apple Music or Spotify playlists to identify which ones are available in Atmos, which is great if you really want to explore spatial audio for music.
