Attention, Amazon Haters: Walmart is also having a big sale right now

The first day is booming, but Amazon isn’t the only store offering deals. Walmart offers a competing sale that it calls, in a burst of creativity, “Walmart Deals.” Like Prime Day, Walmart’s sale offers a range of deals on headphones, tablets, kitchen equipment and other technology. The best part is, there are no members-only deals here, so you can shop without worrying about being asked to sign up to get one. I’ve rounded up all the best discounted Walmart buys on our favorite gear tested by WIRED.

THE Apple Watch Series 11 is from afar the best smart watch for iPhone owners. The main improvement is 24-hour battery life, which allows for proper sleep tracking. You also get clinically validated watchOS health updates, including FDA-approved hypertension notifications, Apple’s proprietary Sleep Score, and blood oxygen detection.

The base iPad checks all the boxes you need in a tablet. This is the latest model, updated in 2025 with an A16 chip and 6 GB of RAM. It is perfect for casual playing, reading books, watching movies in bed and sharing with your children. Amazon is currently offering the same sale for Prime members, but it’s as good a deal as we typically see on iPads.

These tiny trackers might be the best way to keep tabs on your keys or luggage if you use an iPhone. They are part of best trackers around. About a quarter in size, they use Bluetooth and Apple’s special U1 location chip to pinpoint locations in the Find My app.

Our first choice among best smart ringsthe Oura Ring 4 has never been cheaper than this. Oura just released a slimmer version, but the Ring 4 is currently half price and still a great option for tracking health, fitness, and sleep.

THE Fee 6 it’s old, but it’s still our favorite Fitbit and may stay that way until the Fitbit name is overwhelmed by Google.
