Candidate for “Love Island USA” Alanah Keyser is speaking out after being removed from the Peacock dating series following reshot footage and social media posts that sparked major backlash online.

Keyser took to TikTok shortly after being kicked out of the Villa to respond to the controversy. She explains that the video in question is “six years old,” adding that the language used is something she no longer uses today, clearly saying “it’s no longer part of my vocabulary” while apologizing to those who were offended by her actions.

Keyser also pushed back on how she is portrayed on the show, suggesting the edit may not reflect her full experience in the villa, with the caption saying “remember reality TV is HEAVY edited and my chats/kisses with the other boys unfortunately didn’t make it to air.”

According to her, key interactions – particularly her conversations and relationships with contestants of color during Casa Amor – were not fully shown. Interactions that contributed to public perception after fans pointed out his limited screen time with them.

Keyser ended his statement with a black screen and text saying “the video was cut but it has always been in my nature to spread positivity and help others and I will continue to do so.”

As we previously reported…Peacock confirmed to TMZ that Keyser would no longer appear on the show following Thursday night’s episode last week.

We are told the decision comes after a video showed she uses the N word while singing Roddy Rich‘s “The Box,” as well as an alleged past comment on Instagram attributed to him that also included a racial slur.

The clips quickly spread across social media, sparking widespread criticism from fans… However, production sources told TMZ that the video and social media posts that resurfaced were not publicly available during casting and vetting, and only emerged after Keyser had already joined the show.

The controversy has now entirely overshadowed Keyser’s time in the villa, with his exit marking one of the most abrupt exits of season 8 so far, after Vasana Montgomery who was pulled of the show for a similar video before even doing it in front of the cameras.
