Travis Kelce appreciates Taylor Swift’s work ethic
Kelce is known for giving it her all on the football field, and Swift doesn’t hold back when she’s on stage. Kelce got to see how hard she worked to pull off her record-breaking Eras Tour, which included performances on multiple continents.
In February 2025, Kelce revealed that he took notes while observing how everything unfolded. “His work ethic, what I saw on that tour last year, was pretty remarkable,” he told reporters at the time, as reported by PEOPLE magazine. “I mean, seeing week after week traveling from country to country.”
“The band, the singers, everyone was involved, and it was an absolute machine, and it was something that I could admire while watching and take a lot of notes on,” he added.
Kelce talks about the ‘mind-blowing’ work she put into the Eras tour
This isn’t the only time he’s spoken openly about his work ethic. Later that year, in an interview with GQ, he talked about how athletic she had to be while performing on stage for hours each night during her Eras Tour run.
“I had never met anyone in the same situation as me, with a partner who understands the scrutiny, understands the ups and downs of being in front of millions of people,” he said. “It was very relevant, considering how exhausted she was after the shows.”
“She might not consider herself an athlete,” he continued. “She’ll never tell anyone she’s an athlete. But I’ve seen what she goes through. I’ve seen the amount of work she puts into her body, and it’s mind-blowing.”

Although he showed up to many concerts in support of her, Swift was also seen at many Kansas City Chiefs games in support of him. During a January 2025 episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show, Kelce revealed that not only are they both “happy” in the relationship, but they are also big supporters of each other’s careers.
“I enjoy all aspects of life. Taylor and I are happy,” Kelce said at the time. “I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and comfort off the field and all the support I could ask for in the stadium.”
“I personally think the beauty of being in a really strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of yourself,” he continued. “That’s why I wanted to be at the concert, support her and be there for her, make sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she does in life.”

The NFL star also spoke with The Wall Street Journal for its December 2023/January 2024 issue to shed light on his relationship with the “So High School” singer. He spoke openly about the complexity of dating someone “with that kind of aura about him.”
“I’ve never dealt with this,” he shared. “But at the same time, I’m not running from any of that… The scrutiny she’s under, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every day, the paparazzi outside her house, in front of every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that, I better not be the one acting strange.”
“I’ve never been a man of words,” he confessed. “Being with her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been mind-blowing. I’m learning every day.”
