Taylor Swift accused of being ‘Bridezilla’ over wedding plans

Taylor Swiftmarriage with Travis Kelce is shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrity events in recent memory, but it’s not just the lavish guest list or rumor of a castle inside Madison Square Garden that’s making headlines.

New reports claim the pop superstar took complete control of every detail of the celebration, especially when it came to filming the event.

According to insiders, Swift’s meticulous approach has even led to her being accused of becoming a “bridezilla.”

Taylor Swift has built her career on owning her story, and insiders say her wedding will be no exception.

According to the Daily Mailthe singer hired a professional camera crew to capture every moment of her July 3 wedding to Travis Kelce at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

The production is said to be on par with the event itself, with a castle built inside the iconic venue to create what is described as a Disney-style fairy tale backdrop.

The filming plans come as no surprise to fans familiar with Swift’s business strategy. She previously turned her record-breaking Eras Tour into a Disney+ documentary series and released several self-produced visual projects that she owns.

Exclusive Daily Mail photographs also showed professional monitors, cameras and high-end production equipment being moved to Madison Square Garden ahead of the ceremony.

Despite reportedly receiving offers worth tens of millions of dollars from streaming platforms hoping to livestream the wedding, Swift reportedly turned them all down.

Sources say Taylor Swift has no plans to allow anyone to influence how her marriage will be presented to the public.

“It’s not about privacy, it’s about control. Taylor wants to own the footage, oversee the editing and decide exactly what people see. No one else can tell this story,” a source told “Naughty But Nice.”

A permit approved by the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment appears to support claims that filming has already begun.

The documents cover a “special event at Madison Square Garden” that will run from June 29 to July 4 and list the type of event as “theatre loads and exits.”

Insiders say Swift intends to follow the same blueprint she’s used successfully throughout her career. “It will happen on Taylor’s timeline, once she gets it together and is ready,” a source said of the wedding footage.

Another source added: “If Taylor wanted complete privacy, she could have had a quiet wedding at home with a handful of people. Instead, she’s planning an event big enough to shut down part of a city. She’s never hidden her personal life – she’s accomplished it.”

Beyond the cameras, industry observers believe Swift’s business machine is already gearing up for what’s next.

His company, TAS Rights Management, has reportedly filed more than 300 trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, covering everything from album titles to merchandise.

This approach reflects his handling of “The End of an Era,” the six-part Disney+ documentary chronicling his Eras tour.

This project, as well as the film of the Vancouver concert released alongside it, were produced on Swift’s own terms, without any outside studio controlling the final product.

If history repeats itself, fans might eventually attend the wedding, but only when the 36-year-old decides the time is right.

The celebration itself is expected to be massive. According to sources, more than 1,000 guests are expected at the July 3 festivities after receiving electronic invitations accompanied by confidentiality agreements.

Guests were reportedly asked to arrive in New York between July 3 and 5. The evening before, around a hundred guests will attend a more intimate rehearsal dinner.

Guests will begin arriving at 3:30 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception at 4:00 p.m. in the arena’s sixth floor lobby.

The ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the arena, before the reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and continues until 2 a.m.

The rehearsal dinner will be held at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, the venue chosen in part because its entrance provides privacy for photographers.

The star power of weddings extends far beyond the bride and groom. Confirmed guests reportedly include Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse and Gigi Hadid.

Music legends Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are expected to perform during the celebration.

The guest list also includes influential music executives such as Republic Records Chairman Monte Lipman and Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge.

Outside of Madison Square Garden, preparations are just as thorough. New York City police were reportedly alerted to the presence of large crowds of supporters gathering around the venue, while the National Guard was deployed nearby.

A permit filed with the city’s Street Activity Permit office by Winick Productions outlines planned street closures around Madison Square Garden from July 2 to July 4 at noon.

The filing also refers to a tent or canopy structure outside the venue and indicates the attendance of up to 999 people.
