A spokesperson for the “Love Story” singer told PEOPLE magazine that the couple made $26 million in donations to various charities before their wedding.
Nonprofit organizations support education, animal welfare, the fight against cancer, food insecurity, and various other charitable causes.
Many of these organizations have since taken to social media to thank the couple for their contributions.
Children’s Mercy Hospital is in its ‘Era of Recognition’
Children’s Mercy Hospital was among the first to comment on rumors that Swift and Kelce donated a large sum to the hospital. “The rumor about @taylorswift and @killatrav? It’s true. And we heard it with joy,” they wrote in the caption on Instagram.
“Their incredible gift will help bring more comfort, joy and ‘just be a kid’ moments to Children’s Mercy, supporting the programs, services and care that make hospital days brighter for children and families,” they continued. “More comfort. More magic. More reminders that our children are seen, supported and surrounded by love”

Swift is well known for her love of cats, and the ASPCA shared a thank you image showing three kittens looking at a friendship bracelet with Taylor and Travis’ names on it.
“Thank you, Taylor and Travis,” they wrote alongside two orange heart emojis. “We are deeply grateful to @taylorswift and @killatrav for their generous donation to the ASPCA in their latest charitable giving announcement.”
“This significant donation will help provide vital care, shelter and second chances to vulnerable animals across the country,” they continued. “As we continue to celebrate Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, there has never been a better time to help even more cats find the loving homes they deserve.
Dolly Parton thanks Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their donation
Country queen Dolly Parton took to Instagram to share a thoughtful message after Swift and Kelce made a $2 donation to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which is “dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by providing free books to children from birth to five years old,” according to its website.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” Parton said in the video. “I am blown away and delighted by this gratitude. Now it is obvious that you have made giving back a key part of your life.”
She also joked that she wanted the couple’s firstborn because “it will be A special baby.
Rhode Island Community Food Bank Receives $1 Million Donation
The Community Food Bank of Rhode Island also took to Instagram to thank the happy couple for a $1 million donation. “In honor of their upcoming nuptials, @taylorswift and @killatrav have made an extraordinary $1 million donation to the Community Food Bank of Rhode Island!” they wrote.
“We were delighted to learn of this unexpected donation, which comes at a time when the need for food assistance in our state is at an unprecedented level,” they continued. “Every dollar of this generous donation will go toward providing food to distribute across our statewide network of 137 member agencies.
Melissa Cherney, CEO of the food bank, said, “Gifts like this are a powerful reminder of the good we can do with the support of our community. This act of generosity shows that together we can overcome this moment and truly end hunger in our state.”
