K-pop sensation BTS’ dedicated fan base, Army, knows this routine all too well: arriving at the sales booth hours before the stadium gates open and waiting in line all day, in all weathers, just in the hopes of snagging a street or member-specific jersey for the group’s Arirang world tour. Am I speaking from experience? Well, yes. Will I do it again and again? Uh.
If you missed your dream tour, another collecting opportunity is coming, and it doesn’t involve a sales booth: McDonald’s is offering a limited-time line of BT21 characters at Happy Meals.
Starting July 14, at participating McDonald’s restaurants, you can find and collect 10 unique space-themed BT21 toys. There is a toy for each of the seven members of the group, as well as three others: Van (a character representing the Army), a toy with all the characters of a spaceship and a poster with stickers. The characters are designed with a clip ring to attach to bags or clothing.

McDonald’s and BTS have history
This is the third collaboration between BTS and the fast food chain.
In September 2025, McDonald’s launched TinyTAN Happy Meals which included mini-figures of the BTS members in cartoon form. And in May 2021, he unveiled a BTS meal accompanied by South Korean-inspired dips, sweet chili and Cajun.
A big year for BTS
BTS’ Arirang World Tour covers North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and beyond. The group too in partnership with Oreo to launch a limited-edition cookie with a brown sugar pancake topping inspired by a popular Korean street food.
The K-pop group is also scheduled to perform at halftime show of the FIFA World Cup final on July 19 in New Jersey, alongside Madonna, Shakira and Justin Bieber.
