Celeste Rivas’ parents appear at court hearing in D4vd murder case

Celeste Rivas“The parents went to court Tuesday…looking serious as they arrived for the preliminary hearing in D4vdthe murder case.

Jesus Rivas And Mercedes Martinez were spotted walking down the street in downtown Los Angeles… holding hands as they headed to the courthouse… and looking solemn.

Celeste’s parents have attended some previous court proceedings…so it’s not a total surprise to see them in court today…but today’s preliminaries won’t be any easier for them to digest.

Prosecutors will present their mountain of evidence as they try to convince the judge that there is enough evidence to warrant a murder trial.

As you know… D4vd was charge with the murder of Céleste and prosecutors say he fatally stabbed her in her Hollywood Hills home in April 2025, then put her body in an inflatable pool and dismembered her with a chainsaw he ordered online.

Prosecutors say D4vd stuffed her body into two bags placed in the front trunk of his Tesla.

Celeste’s family issued a statement after his arrest… thanking the LAPD and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for all their hard work on the case.

We expect Toddy’s hearing to veer into graphic territory at times.

D4vd — who has remained incarcerated since his arrest — pleaded not guilty to the accusations made against him.

Celeste was only 14 years old when she died.
