NBCUniversal and YouTube continue to expand their partnership with the rollout of a new streaming bundle combining Peacock Premium and YouTube Premium. The package will be available to customers in the United States in early 2027, NBCUniversal announced Monday. Viewers can access Peacock content like Love Island USA, Law & Order, The Traitors and live sports from the NBA, NFL and more. As part of the media giants’ expanded deal, NBC will also stream select sporting events live on YouTube through its NBC Sports channel.
With this collaboration, NBCU plans to push its international streaming services, Universal Plus and Hayu, to reach more YouTube Premium subscribers.
“We are incredibly excited to expand our partnership with NBCUniversal to redefine what a modern entertainment subscription can be for consumers,” said Neal Mohan, CEO of YouTube. “YouTube Premium brings together your favorite creators, artists and cultural moments seamlessly, and now we combine this ultimate viewing experience with Peacock’s huge lineup of live sports like Sunday Night Football and the NBA, hit Universal movies and original series.”
Additionally, after launching Peacock Premium Plus as a YouTube add-on subscription in June, the Google-owned platform will offer the $11 per month Peacock Premium plan as an add-on channel later this summer. The streamer’s Premium Plus plan is mostly ad-free and costs $17 per month, while the Premium plan includes ads.
Pricing for the upcoming plan isn’t available yet, but YouTube Premium plans start at $9 per month for a standalone subscription.
