Conservative donor Steve Parkin has money to spend. Not only has the company he founded secured £11million to deliver PPE to the NHS during the pandemic.

But now the company has received an additional £4.5m of taxpayers' money to incinerate gowns and goggles deemed unnecessary.

And eyebrows will be raised at these nice little earners as we reveal Mr Parkin gave £730,000 to the Tories.

Covid's conservative cronyism has left a bitter aftertaste long after the virus robbed some of us of our taste buds.
