Beyond the Gates Weekly Spoilers April 28-May 2: Nicole & Ted Explode and Chelsea Provokes

Beyond the Gates 2-week spoilers for April 28 – May 9, 2025 see Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson’s (Daphnee Duplaix) and Dr. Ted Richardson’s (Maurice Johnson) relationship is going to explode, and Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) is provoking someone.

But also know there are two preemption days, so we’re only getting three episodes, which is kind of crushing because we are right at this dramatic explosion moment. And cliffhanger Friday this week is not to be missed.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Week of April 28th – May 2nd

Monday, April 28th is season 1, episode 44. Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) and Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) are adjusting to their new normal. She has agreed that since Derek’s lease is up, he can move in. But how will Ashley handle him being there all the time? It’s a little place, they may start rubbing each other the wrong way. Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) tries to get her new client, June, to trust her.

If you don’t remember, that is the homeless lady that Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) called her in to rep. And she’s obviously distraught and hasn’t had a good experience with police, lawyers, and obviously this social worker did something wrong. So it’s going to be an uphill climb, but I think Naomi is committed to this. “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) amps up her scheme against Nicole and Ted. She has it all set up to coincide with their anniversary and come out on their big night.

Beyond the Gates Preemptions: European Soccer Takes Over

Now here’s the preemptions: on Tuesday, April 29th and Wednesday, April 30th, there are no new episodes. We are preempted for European soccer coverage. Oh my gosh, I have a team in Wales that I follow, a football club over there, but I watch it on Paramount Plus and ESPN. They don’t need to do this to us on a week this good. I don’t understand why we have to deal with a soccer preemption. That’s what ESPN is for.

Chelsea’s Provocative Questions and Family Dynamics

So next week, but we don’t know the date, we are going to see Chelsea show up to her cousin Martin Richardson’s (Brandon Claybon) place with questions about threesomes. And that’s pretty provocative stuff. So just wow. And I wonder if Bradley “Smitty” Smith’s (Mike Manning) is going to walk in on that conversation. Plus, there’s kind of a different dynamic.

So is Chelsea just assuming that Martin’s into threesomes because he’s been with Smitty for a long time? They have kids, they’ve been together for quite a while. And also just the dynamic because Martin’s gay. I haven’t heard anything about him being bisexual or anything.

And Chelsea is quite obviously fluid and open to both men and women. So I’m trying to understand how this whole conversation’s going to go. And I just can’t imagine asking your cousin about it. I wouldn’t ask any of my cousins about threesomes, just saying, even if I knew they had been in some.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Leslie’s Scheme Explodes at Anniversary Party

Thursday, May 1st, Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) is trying hard to shut down Leslie’s drastic scheme before it is too late. But guess what? It’s too late. Ted and Nicole’s big anniversary party begins, and the stage is set for a shocking reveal. Poor Nicole.

Meanwhile, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) keeps digging to find out what Eva (Ambyr Michelle) is hiding. And she already knows Leslie isn’t who she seems to be, but she doesn’t understand the dynamics and how they’re really tied together. And looks like time has run out for Kat to figure it out.

Beyond the Gates Cliffhanger Friday: Truth Revealed, Families Shattered

Friday, May 2nd, season 1, episode 46. This is going to be a huge cliffhanger. We are the first full week into May sweeps, so this is a big deal. Derek and Ashley are facing some growing pains as they adjust to living together. But the big drama is Nicole and Ted’s anniversary party.

It is going to be a night to remember, and not in a good way. The truth about Leslie and Eva looks like it’s going to come out at the party. Nicole is absolutely stunned, and she is demanding answers. Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) also want to know what the heck is happening.

And Kat watches the big awful reveal and worries to Mona that her family is falling apart. So looks like Kat might have gotten a clue way too late. She shouldn’t have been spying on Eva, she should have been trying to figure out the other woman. Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) has apparently known all along, by the way, about Turtleneck Ted’s (Maurice Johnson) cheating.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Bill Gets Backlash

And of course, when it comes out, and specifically when it comes out that Bill has known all along, there may be some backlash on him. But before it all comes out, Bill unpacks this little dirty secret to his new little wife, Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings). Tells her about Ted cheating on Nicole And Haley is of course shocked, scandalized, and intrigued, and she definitely wants to hear more.

But what is most interesting about this, and you have to remember, Ted thinks that Leslie had an abortion. Unless something has changed, I haven’t heard anything slip on the episode, but he is completely under the impression that that unplanned pregnancy was taken care of on Beyond the Gates.

So I do think it’s going up blow up. But what I’m excited and interested to find out is the fallout because Nicole genuinely likes Eva. And how she came to be born is not her fault. Of course, Kat is going to be horrified to find out that this girl is her sister. I don’t think she’s going to open her arms and welcome her over for a slumber party. And of course, Ted needs to do right by his daughter. So this is going to get super messy very soon.
