Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Shows Steffy Two Can Play Her Game?

Bold and the Beautiful turned the tables on Steffy Forrester when Eric Forrester took a page from his granddaughter’s playbook on the CBS soap. Steffy is fuming over changes made unbeknownst to her in the fashion show. But Steffy becomes stunned when she learns Eric made the change that left her and her mom, Taylor Hayes, looking rather grim.

Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy Forrester Fumes as Eric Forrester Sets the Mood

Bold and the Beautiful‘s fashion show left Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reeling over Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) saving the event with her showstopper. It sure did stop the show, just long enough for everyone to gasp and applaud.

The audience was in awe of Brooke wearing her retro gown and summoning Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to her side on the runway. This looked like a setup to Steffy, as this ploy put her father and Brooke together for a nostalgic moment during their reign together.

But when Steffy found out Eric Forrester (John McCook) conjured up this, she was flabbergasted. She thought for sure it was a trick by Brooke to bring Ridge back to her. And it was, but it was Eric who put this together, which thrilled Brooke.

B&B: Steffy Wasn’t Buying Eric’s Defense

Bold and the Beautiful had Eric on a mission when using Brooke and Ridge together for this show. But while it saved the day, that wasn’t all that Eric had in mind. He also intended to show Ridge where he belonged – next to Brooke.

Yet he gave Steffy Forrester a business reason for deciding to change the showstopper. There wasn’t much left for Steffy Forrester to say. What her grandfather said was already proven correct with the orders piling up.

But Steffy didn’t walk away without putting her two cents in. She was upset that they made the fashion show all about Brooke instead of Eric and Ridge’s designs. But what Steffy really saw was a move by her grandfather to get Brooke and Ridge back together. And Steffy didn’t like it.

Bold and the Beautiful: A Serious Tone

Bold and the Beautiful has Eric Forrester up against his granddaughter, as she is like a watchdog hovering over her parents. As much as Eric loves Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), he sees that Brooke holds the key to his son’s happiness. And as a father, Eric intends to show Ridge

So now Steffy knows how it feels to have someone working against her, just like she’s been doing to Brooke all along. And whether Eric meant to or not, he showed his granddaughter the error of her ways this week on Bold and Beautiful.

Taylor felt like the unwanted guest at the fashion show. And as soon as she saw the showstopper, she knew why she felt unwelcome. She wasn’t supposed to see this.

So, now Eric Forrester’s involvement sets a more serious tone, as he helps Brooke try to lure Ridge. Taylor and Steffy know that Brooke has Eric’s help, and it’s very influential help, as far as Ridge is concerned. Ridge usually reacts to his dad’s guidance with respect.

B&B: Did Eric Show Steffy & Taylor They Are Fooling Themselves?

Bold and the Beautiful has Taylor Hayes buying Ridge’s excuse when he tells her the connection she witnessed between him and Brooke was just him caught up in the moment. So, Taylor seemed okay with that.

But Brooke was right when she told Eric she felt the electricity with Ridge up there on the runway. It was easy for Bold and the Beautiful viewers to see it too.

So, it looks like Brooke is one step closer to her destiny. It seems no matter how hard Taylor tries to fit into Ridge Forrester’s world lately, it’s just not working.

Over the last few episodes, Bold and the Beautiful made it clear Taylor cannot penetrate the Forrester Creation world, which Brooke Logan is very much a part of. So, it seems Eric Forrester made this clear to Taylor with his showstopper idea.

The tables now turn on Steffy Forrester, as Eric Forrester wants to put Ridge back on the right road to happiness. He tries to spark something in his son so that he realizes he belongs with Brooke Logan on the CBS soap.
