Bold and the Beautiful: Grace Scams Bill for $1 Million – Fake or Real Cure for Liam?

Bold and the Beautiful offers a twist with Grace Buckingham performing Liam Spencer’s surgery, as she deceives Bill Spencer on the CBS soap. Sure, there was another medical professional who helped her. But she performed this risky experimental procedure and lied to Bill about it.

Earlier this week, Bold and the Beautiful had Bill Spencer desperate to find a way to save Liam Spencer. But then Grace Buckingham and a million dollars from Bill came into play.

Now it seems that Grace is up to more than meets the eye with this secret surgery. Plus, she seemed desperate to get that $1 million for the other doctor. Although now it appears to be her fee in this mysterious turn of events.

Bold and the Beautiful: Bill Spencer Suffers

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) suffers major guilt on The Bold and the Beautiful this week, as those in his circle blame him for Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) shooting Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Liam’s recovery from the gunshot wound is going well. But now comes a different medical problem, one that was already diagnosed as fatal for Liam.

Bill learns of Liam Spencer‘s deadly diagnosis of a tumor when Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) blurts it out while lambasting the publishing mogul. Bill quivers through a round of rotten father accusations from Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) also has his say about Bill’s selfish ways leading to Liam fighting for his life after Luna shot him. But one person quietly takes this all in, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech).

B&B: Grace Buckingham Had Liam Spencer In Her Scope

Grace Buckingham has kept an overwhelmingly watchful eye on Liam since he arrived at the hospital. At one point even Finn (Tanner Novlan) noticed how she seems to take a special interest in Liam’s case. But why?

Once Liam Spencer comes out of his coma, Grace quietly tells Bill that there may be a way to save his son. Next, in the Bold and Beautiful preview, we see Grace looking at her cell phone screen, and the sum of $1,000,000 is displayed.

This week on Bold and the Beautiful, Grace tells Bill this very experimental procedure cannot be done or even discussed at the hospital. But she tells Liam and Bill that she has all the faith in the world that her colleague can pull it off and give Liam a second chance at life.

But it will cost about $1 million, which Bill sneezes at. He doesn’t care about money; he wants to save Liam. But fans are stunned when the operation starts and we see Grace take the scalpel and make the cut to Liam’s head.

Bold and the Beautiful: Bill & Grace Whisked Liam Away

Bill Spencer takes Liam Spencer out of the hospital this week on Bold and the Beautiful in a desperate attempt to save him. Grace signed him out as his attending physician. The procedure happens at a surgical center that they paid to use, as it is illegal to perform this experimental procedure in a hospital.

Both Bill and Grace got Liam’s permission to do this operation. So, he is on board with this. But Bill and Grace keep it a secret from the other medical professionals at the hospital, along with Liam’s family and friends. So, as people start to learn he is gone, red flags fly.

But something seems a bit off with Grace on Bold and the Beautiful. It shows her looking at the $1,000,000 in a text message on her phone. Then, after seeing who actually did the surgery, you have to surmise that is her fee.

Grace was once married to Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) years ago. He was the doctor who kidnapped Hope and Liam’s baby. She was not married to him at the time he committed this crime for money. But some fans wonder if she too has some of his tendencies. You can’t help but wonder if, after once being married to this unscrupulous criminal, maybe something rubbed off.

The Bold and the Beautiful: What Did Grace Buckingham Do to Liam Spencer?

But the real question in this Bold and Beautiful storyline is, what did Grace do in that operating room? She said Liam now has a chance after the tumor was removed. And that is easy enough to validate with another MRI of the brain for comparison of before and after.

Or did she stage this operation by stitching up a superficial slice to the scalp that she made with her scalpel? If that is the case and she staged this for a quick million bucks, then it is likely Grace Buckingham soon makes a mad dash out of LA with the money.

Or Bold and the Beautiful can go another way with this. Maybe Grace believed that she had the skills to perform this surgery, but she couldn’t legally perform it. So, she saw this chance with Liam to try out her theory.

If she did do the surgery because she believed she could, and if it is a success, then she could never take credit for it. Instead, some random doctor becomes the hero. The doctor who acted like he didn’t have a clue on how to perform the surgery will go down in history for this miracle cure.

So, will this storyline turn out as a life-saving operation for Liam Spencer, or will B&B spin something more into it on the CBS soap?
