Bold and the Beautiful: Liam Spencer’s Fatal Heroic Act Saves Steffy’s Life?

Bold and the Beautiful sees Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) absolutely terrified that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is going to die. And he is determined to protect her no matter what. We’re going to talk about how Liam might go out a hero protecting Steffy from Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). It would be an incredible twist if Liam went out that way instead of dying from his cancerous brain tumor.

Liam’s Desperate Plea to Protect Steffy from Luna

So right now, Liam is panicking over Steffy’s safety. He told her and Finn (Tanner Novlan) how worried he is because he knows Luna’s getting more desperate and could try to get Steffy out of the way permanently, so Liam’s telling Finn this week that they have to protect Steffy no matter what.

Liam is determined to make sure nothing happens to Steffy or Finn because that’s who Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) is going to be with after Liam dies. He’s got this death sentence hanging over his head. And he can’t imagine saying goodbye to Beth and Kelly. And Liam wants their moms, Steffy and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to be with good men. So that he can rest in peace when it’s his time to go, which is coming soon.

And of course, Liam worries about his girls living their lives without him. But if something was to happen to Steffy too, then Kelly would lose both her parents. Liam doesn’t want that for his daughter. And of course, Kelly would still have Finn and all the extended family. But she’d still be an orphan, so of course Liam is panicking.

He told Steffy and Finn he cannot focus on his health until he knows for sure that Steffy is safe from Finn’s crazy daughter and of course we all know Luna is definitely coming after Steffy and she’s more unhinged by the day this week, even knowing that Luna planning a murder, creepy Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) decided to teach Luna how to shoot like an ace. She even printed a photo of Steffy for target practice. I will say that has to be the most unethical gun range ever to print out a photo of someone to use as a target. That’s just terrifying.

And I mean, who knows? Remy might help Luna in other ways as well. I can see Remy getting on board to aid and abet Luna in her kill Steffy plot, especially if she agrees to help him with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), so they could make a deal. Who knows? Clearly Luna is on a mission to kill Steffy and unless someone intervenes, Luna might succeed. So could that someone be Liam?

Despite his health battle and increasing weakness and dizzy spells, I mean, somebody’s got to save Steffy from Luna. I think Finn would intervene. But he’s not always home. But Liam is pretty much at their house full time these days. So if Steffy’s home, Liam’s out in the guest house, he might wander in and find Luna holding Steffy at gunpoint. And of course we’ve seen it.

Liam’s Heroic Intervention: Saving Steffy from Luna

Liam’s got almost no energy right now because of his cancer and the medication, the treatment he’s going through. But even if he can’t fight Luna off physically. I can see Liam doing whatever he can to protect Steffy. So spoilers for this week say Luna startles Steffy at home on Thursday and then Friday’s spoilers say Luna is still there and Steffy doesn’t realize the danger that she’s in.

I mean, you’d think Steffy and Finn would have state of the art security, especially with this threat. Or at the very least a lock and a deadbolt that you can get for $5 at Home Depot on the door of their gazillion dollar Malibu house. Yet Luna keeps strolling in there anytime she feels like it. So, I think the spoiler about Steffy’s no sense of danger is because she doesn’t realize that Luna’s got a gun on her on Bold and the Beautiful.

Showdown at the Forrester House: Liam’s Sacrifice or Medical Miracle?

So Liam’s in the guesthouse at Steffy’s and Finn’s because he’s super sick and that way, Liam can be constantly monitored by Doctor Finn. But most days we see Liam up in the main house with them. So, I suspect when Luna comes for Steffy, we’re going to see Liam wander in on this tense showdown. Maybe once Luna pulls the gun out and Liam realizes that Luna’s there to shoot Steffy, I can see Liam going as fast as he possibly can to intervene. So, I can see a couple of plausible scenarios for this. One is Luna fires the gun, Liam staggers over in front of Steffy, and he’s shot.

So Liam won’t die slowly from the brain tumor but might die heroically but fast, saving Steffy’s life. I don’t think Liam’s got the strength or stamina to lunge at Luna to knock the gun away. I suspect Liam might have enough energy to use himself as a human shield and get in front of Steffy though, kind of a replay of what Finn did when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot at Steffy out in that alley, remember?

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Liam’s Fate and Steffy’s Maternity Leave

Second scenario I could see is that Liam is shot protecting Steffy. But some kind of silver lining comes from it. Somehow, if Liam is shot by Luna, it triggers a bizarre medical opportunity, something that allows the surgeons to operate on that inoperable tumor because he’s shot in the chest and they have to put him on cardiac bypass and that keeps the blood flow in his brain somehow where they can do something with the tumor, you know, something soapy.

Something vague, you know how they like to do with medical stuff on Bold. I mean, unlikely but possible because it’s a soap and you know Steffy may call the cops on Luna or wrestle the gun from her and shoot Luna, then call the police however it plays out, I do think Liam could be involved in saving Steffy and either get a hero’s death or some kind of reward medically for his heroism and at this point I do think Liam cares more about Steffy’s life than his own because he’s got this terminal illness and he knows it. Liam doesn’t want Kelly to lose her mom, so I think Liam would do anything including sacrificing himself to make sure Steffy lives and can be there for Kelly. But like I’ve said before.

Bold and the Beautiful: Will Liam Survive?

I just don’t think Liam is going to actually die on Bold and the Beautiful. Brad Bell may make a fool of me. But I’m still waiting on that 11th hour miracle because Scott Clifton’s a great actor and if they can keep him they should. And who knows this scary Luna mess may set the stage for that. So in the process of saving Steffy, something may shift so that Liam can survive or he and Luna may both wind up exiting in body bags. There are plenty of dramatic options to choose from. And with things picking up speed, we’re going to find out soon what the endgame is, how it all plays out.

We also have in play, of course, Jackie Wood, who plays Steffy, is very pregnant with baby number 5, probably is going to need a little bit of maternity leave, so there’s always the possibility that she is hurt too or Liam survives and he’s in a coma and he’s sent away for treatment and she goes to be at his side, something with her maternity leave. There there’s several moving parts in this. Is Liam going to die saving Steffy and go out a hero or will Liam’s heroism turn into an opportunity for a medical miracle? Either way, I suspect it’s going to be super-duper soapy.
