Days of our Lives Early Spoilers June 9-13: Bo Guilty at Funeral – Jennifer Rages

Days of Our Lives spoilers for June 9-13, 2025 see Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) completely guilt-stricken at the funeral and Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) absolutely raging at Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about something. As we always do on early edition day, we start with what’s coming the rest of this week, and then we get into what’s coming next week.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Marina’s Grief and Andrew & Paul’s Wedding Plans

So, Wednesday, June 4th, we’ve got Brad and Belle Black (Martha Madison) showing Mama Marlena some love after she lost John Black (Drake Hogestyn). And, you know, Marina starts to see everything is changing. She has a little time alone, but then she turns to family. Carrie, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) all rally around Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) as well.

We’ve got Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) in town. Of course, he’s there to comfort his fiance, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), who is in tears over the death of his dad, John. And the guys decide, you know what? We’re going to go ahead and still get married in Salem as we planned. So, we’ll see if that happens before after the funeral.

Bo’s Miraculous Recovery and the Shadow of John’s Death

And Bo’s miraculous recovery is cause for celebration. And Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni), Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) are all cheering. But then, of course, they’re hard hit by the news from Salem that Bo’s awakening came at the cost of John’s life.

Not that it’s Bo’s fault or anything, but as guilty as Shawn was about shooting him and putting his dad in a coma, I think we’re going to see Bo feeling equally as guilty about what happened to John. So, they are going to be in Salem for John’s funeral. Peter Reckell himself confirmed it.

Jennifer’s Fury, Charity Dates, and Family Reunions in Salem

On Thursday, June 5th, Cat has her charity date with Chad. And when word spreads that they were out together, that’s going to cause problems because Jennifer and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) are back to Salem for John’s funeral. And she’s obviously going to find out that those two got closer. Bo tells Hope (Kristian Alfonso) that he still loves his fancy face. And he tells Shawn and Ciara and his wife, ex-wife, are they married right now? I think they’re not married. I’m trying to remember. Or they were married when he died.

But they’re all lucky to be together and have this incredible family. And then he gets to meet his namesake grandson Bo, and little granddaughter Addie Horton Williams.  Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) is again bickering with her daughter Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes). And Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) spends some time talking to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).

Now, I do wonder if Doug is going to tell Leo that he met this great girl, you know, Ariana, and if Leo is going to realize that Doug is sleeping with Gabi’s daughter, which he might find pretty amusing. Tate is absolutely devastated to lose his granddad, John, and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is there to comfort him. I’m guessing Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) will be as well once she finds out.

Days of Our Lives Drama: Jennifer’s Rage, Stephanie’s Manuscript, and Hospital Visits

All right, Friday, June 6th. We’ve got Jennifer absolutely enraged that Chad has gotten so close to Cat. She finds out they had a date. She’s venting to Jack. I’m sure that somebody’s going to tell Jennifer that it was a charitable thing and Chad didn’t bid. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) bid and somehow he wound up with the substitute date.

But you know, Jennifer isn’t going to tolerate Chad being around the impostor who pretended to be her dead daughter, Abigail Deveraux (AnnaLynne McCord). So, this is going to go over like a lead balloon, and Jennifer is going to be ranting at her like she was the last time she was in town on Days of our Lives.

And by the way, Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) sizzling manuscript gets seen by other people. Now, she told Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) she didn’t want to publish it, but he had already taken it to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and somehow it’s getting passed around. So, that’s kind of an odd thing to bring up in this Bo and John centric week with funeral stuff and death stuff and all that.

Kate begs her son Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), please wake up. He remains unconscious after that brutal beating at the hands of Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). And we have got Tate and Amy taking a tour of the hospital. They’re looking at the birthing facilities because it’s getting closer to Sophia’s due date. All three of them are there together, Amy, Tate, and Sophia. And we’ll see if Amy’s attitude over the adoption has improved any. I wonder if hearing from Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) has softened her approach on this. Carrie, meanwhile, is trying to console Marlena, who of course is inconsolable.

John Black’s Funeral and Salem’s Homecoming Week

The week of June 9th through the 13th, we’re going to have John’s funeral towards the end of the week, and there’s going to be a lot of comebacks between the beginning of the week and then June 12th, we have Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) should be back soon.

We’re going to have to wait and see if Sydney DiMera comes with, and if she does, if she’s going to be soras’d up to a teen. Look for people to be arriving in Salem all week long. The funeral is probably going to be on cliffhanger Friday. Could kick off on Thursday and it may carry over into the following week. Bo, Shawn, Ciara, and Hope are all back in Salem soon, but again, Bo is going to be feeling really guilty that he lived and John did not.

Days of our Lives: Sami Brady Returns?

And with Sami presumably coming back, I’m interested to see if EJ tells her that Rachel saw Johnny with the gun. Of course, EJ is trying his level best to protect Johnny. And of course, Sami may be happy to see that Belle is taking a step back from EJ. Losing her dad, John has made her see that he wouldn’t want her with EJ.

And so, she’s trying to just think, what would John want? Xander’s arrest and Philip’s waking up may be totally on the back burner until the following week, but we’ll see. Kate is begging him on the Friday before to wake up. It may not happen just yet. And of course, my leaker told me that Phillip refuses to press charges despite the severity of the injuries.

Bo’s Awakening, a Wedding, and a Funeral: A Week of Contrasts in Salem

So, also, we’ve got two happy occasions and one sad occasion. These two weeks, we have Bo’s miraculous awakening. And of course, if you remember the last time he miraculously awoke, it was in Megan Hathaway’s lab and we found out he had been in a big old test tube basically for the past oh so many years when he collapsed and died in the park and you know, Hope held him and he faded away and it was this very poetic, very soapy death and then they resurrected him on Beyond Salem and he was a brainwashed killing machine thanks to Megan.

So that kind of tortured psyche where he had been mind controlled and messed with carried on and that took him to the point where he had a gun aimed at Hope and that’s why Shawn shot him. This time when he wakes up looks like his brain is clear.

So that’s good. So we’ve got Bo awake. We’ve got Paul and Andrew getting married. But of course John is gone forever and we have his very sad funeral. It’s going to be a week with lots of moments to cry. If Sophia and Tate were going to keep their baby, I’d like to think they would name it after John but I don’t think they are going to keep it.
