Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Susan Banks Returns and Relationship Drama Unfolds (April 21st)

Monday, April 21st, season 60, episode 171 of DOOL spoilers see Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is back in Salem. She’s back to visit her comatose son, EJ DiMera.

Of course, this is Stacy Haiduk doing double duty this week as both Susan Banks visiting her beloved Elvis, and we also have her in scenes as Kristen DiMera.

Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) chews out Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). And this could be about him talking to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about her gun.

Maybe even about him thinking that she could shoot EJ DiMera. But come on, we all know Kate Roberts could totally shoot EJ DiMera.

Phillip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) both make a promise. Maybe they try and keep each other on the straight and narrow.

I hope these exes are not getting close again, although Phillip is single now. Because Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is definitely staying with Alex Kiriakis.

So, maybe because Belle Black is trying to fight her feelings for EJ DiMera. Although while he was comatose last week, she admitted she loved him.

And Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) confronts Alex Kiriakis and Stephanie Johnson. He wants info from them.

At this point, Phillip Kiriakis came clean after Vivian ratted him out. But Xander Cook wants more details.

And of interest is that Philip covered for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). So now the big question is whether Alex Kiriakis and Stephanie will do the same.

EJ DiMera’s Awakening, a Teen Pregnancy, and Carnival Chaos in Salem (April 22nd)

Tuesday, April 22nd is season 60, episode 172 of Days of our Lives has EJ DiMera waking up from his coma at last. In terms of DOOL coma lengths, this one isn’t too terribly bad.

It’s been what, two weeks, two and a half weeks? So, how long till he spills the beans on the shooter? Because EJ DiMera knows who shot him. He looked the shooter right in the face before they shot EJ.

But I’m not so certain he’s going to say the name of the real shooter right away. There could be a lot more nuance to this reveal.

Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) isn’t sure how to feel. He’s got mixed emotions. There’s a lot of reasons this could be going on. It could be about EJ DiMera waking up.

Or it could be about his mom, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) leaving. Or most likely, about big baby news.

Also, Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) are getting closer. And he’s going to ask her to the prom. But I wonder where you get a maternity prom dress.

I never thought about it before, but she’s going to need one. Her baby bump is pretty big. And Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) spends some time catching up with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).

Hospital Fundraiser Drama: Bidding Wars, Shirtless Xander, and Romantic Realizations (April 23rd)

Then we head into Wednesday, April 23rd, episode 173 of season 60 on Days of our Lives. Spoilers confirm Gabi Hernandez is frustrated. She’s annoyed and tells Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) about it.

She’s venting and the three of them go over to Horton Town Square together to the special event everybody’s excited about. With Cat and Gabi, there’s a little bit of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) stuff there in common.

Gabi used to really like him and it’s just complicated. Also at the big event, Chad sees Cat Greene interacting with Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary) and Charlotte DiMera. He takes note of something.

On Wednesday, as the hospital fundraiser kicks off, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) is going to be the one hosting the auction for sexy bachelors and bachelorettes. Stephanie Johnson’s going to be bidding. That’s because Alex Kiriakis is up for sale.

Gabi and Leo both have bidding paddles. And since Gabi walked away from JJ Deveraux, she bids $10,000 on a hunk that’s up for sale.

She might be in a bidding war with Stephanie to get Alex Kiriakis. He’s up there looking pretty uncomfortable.

Also watch as Xander crosses swords with Phillip. Then, bizarrely, at the fundraiser, Paul Telfer pops off his top. Sarah Horton asks if he’s cold and Xander says no. But he realizes people will wonder why his shirt is off.

Hey, no needs for questions. I think the ladies of Salem and everybody watching will be happy that they stripped Paul Telfer half-naked for a scene. They don’t really need to explain it…

Chad DiMera’s Epiphany, Compassion Plea, and a Shocking Secret Revealed (April 24th)

Now for spoilers for the Thursday, April 24th, episode 174 of the current season of Days of our Lives. Chad has a huge realization, an epiphany. He decides it’s way too soon for him to think about dating, which is strange.

Cat is excited at how well the carnival and the fundraiser went that they planned. Certainly, Chad feels the chemistry and the sparks between them. But it seems like he shuts it down. He may just say, “I can’t do this — no matter what I’m feeling.”

And Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) wants Xander to show some compassion to those who wronged him. Specifically, I believe that means Phillip probably more so than Kate.

And of course, Maggie is selling compassion because she knows a lot more now because of her talk with Sarah this past week. She doesn’t want Sarah’s marriage blowing up in her face.

JJ’s hoping to reconcile with Gabi, but she’s really ticked off at him. So, they continue fighting this week.

Kristen DiMera notices something is off about EJ DiMera after he wakes up. Then, at the carnival event, watch for Alice Halsey’s debut as Rachel Black (previously played by Finley Rose Slater). That’s on first day of April sweeps.

Now we are going to see Rachel at the carnival. But I do wonder if we are going to get a flashback of her related to EJ DiMera’s shooting. Because she may be part of the secret that EJ’s keeping about who put that bullet in his chest.

Adoption News, Doubts, and Bo Brady’s Return Looms (April 25th)

We’re going to close out the week of Days of our Lives spoilers on Friday, April 25th, season 60, episode 175. Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) does some bonding with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).

They have a very heartfelt moment and that could be because this week Chanel’s super excited. She has great news to share with Johnny and her mom.

It looks like Amy Choi agreed to let Chanel and Johnny adopt Tate and Sophia’s baby. But will EJ DiMera waking up affect that?

Johnny has some real doubts about himself. In light of this big adoption news, he may think he’s not fit to be a dad because of his terrible origin story.

Also, really big news. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) gets an update on his dad Bo Brady. He should be waking up very soon if he’s not awake already.

Belle admits something to EJ DiMera and I wonder if it’s going to be the I love you bomb that she dropped. Maybe Belle thinks she should tell EJ in case Sami decides to call him and blab.

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) talks to Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). She tells Rafe that she thinks they just need to call it quits and end things once and for all.
