Farmer Wants A Wife: Samantha Leaves the Farm and Shocks Everyone – Recap [S03E05]

On Farmer Wants A Wife, a barn dance brings the drama and Samantha Riehl shocks John Sansone and everyone else by deciding to leave and let him find someone else. Farmer Jay Wood‘s remaining ladies bond but leave T’yana Nolan out. Farmer Colton Hendricks isn’t shy with kisses but holds back on his perfect date with Zoe Green. Let’s break it all down in this recap of Season 03, Episode 05 I’m Gonna Miss You Cowboy.

Farmer Wants A Wife: Samantha Riehl Bails on John Sansone

On Farmer Wants A Wife, Samantha Riehl shocks everyone including farmer John Sansone when she chooses to go home in spite of their obvious connection. Samantha stated early on that she’d have no problem bowing out if she felt he wasn’t the guy for her. She admits their connection was early and strong. But knows that John Sansone likes to be in the drivers seat. And Samantha Riehl isn’t willing to be a passenger.

As the barn dance winds down, Samantha Riehl asks John if they can have a chat. She tells him that she thinks he’s one of the most awesome guys she’s ever met. But, she doesn’t think he’s right for her at least not now. She leaves him with a hug and suggests she’s leaving so he can find someone that will let him lead. John Sansone is surprised. But quickly rebounds on the dance floor with Kaylee Hane who he also chooses for his solo date.

John Sansone chooses a golf date with Kaylee She opens up about past relationship struggles and even cries a little. John appreciates her vulnerability and their does seem to be an attraction. While the rest of the women were shocked that Samantha Riehl chose to leave, Kaylee and the others  realize it opens the door for them to get to know John better.

Farmer Wants A Wife: Jay Woods in the Middle of Mean Girls

Once the Samantha Riehl shockwaves subsided at the barn dance, more drama presented itself. It seems Jay Wood’s remaining girls are being a little cliquey. It evolves into a scene straight out of a high school dance. Julia Mya, Karina Sabol and Grace Clark make it clear they don’t want T’yana Nolan  sitting with them. Julia flat out tells her she is annoying. And Grace doesn’t appreciate shady comments that T’yana made about her. T’yana ends up in tears. And Jay must come to the rescue.

He tries to console her on Farmer Wants A Wife. But T’yana sobs over the girls repeatedly leaving her out. She says they get up and leave when she walks in the room. And have even gathered in their bedroom and shut the door so she can’t get in. Jay is sweet, but later he spends time bonding with Karina Sabol. And T’yana Nolan feels rejected again when he chooses Karina for the solo date.

The date goes well for farmer Jay and Karina. She accompanies hm to coach youth football. And they have coaching in common since she coaches gymnastics. After the game, Jay sets up a romantic picnic in the bed of his truck. They end up kissing and seem to be connecting. So, Jay now has strong connections with Grace Clark and Karina Sabol on Farmer Wants A Wife.

Farmers Make Connections on FOX Reality Show

Farmer Colton Hendricks is certainly enjoying dating the bevy of women on his farm. He’s kissed Bailee Wallace and Keeley Goldberg, but at the barn dance he’s getting to know Zoe Green. He’s smitten by Zoe’s good looks and her ambitions as a CRNA. He chooses her for the solo date. They head to a boutique and he buys her a turquoise arrowhead necklace before asking the hard question. Can she fulfill her goals living on the farm in Arkansas? She says yes and he holds back from kissing her so he can get to know her better first.

So far, Matt Warren seems to be fading into the background after the Halleh Day drama on Farmer Wants A Wife. However, he takes the opportunity now that the dust settled to dance and talk with Alexandra Webb. She scores the solo date and they head to a winery. Alexandra opens up about her past. She was in the military and has been married before. She admits she was young and it was also a secret, so next time around she want her family included. So, it’s a lot to unpack but Matt seems ok with it. Till next time!
